He's insane. I have all of those...most of them are still readily available at a quarter to two-thirds of the price. A couple of the rarer one's can be trickier to find, but do become available at about $199 (in the US), a little more in the UK.

He claims there are very few available and according to toysoldiersusa.com it also states there are very few and where trial set/s.

Well...if you do an Ebay search for the individual figures (Ebay UK too), you will see many of them. You may not see every one right away, but I regularly see the KCS experimental sets available anywhere from $169-$199USD. Sure, a couple are harder to find, but if you are persistent, they are available...just have to keep watching.

In any case, it is an interesting Ebay post...thanks for sharing it.

Found six of the limited standing dragoon figs, plus guidon bearer, at one time by watching this site. Right at the original retail cost.
