Thanks Gents. Also, be sure to post some photos of the bldg. set when it arrives Brian.

Cheers,

just happened to see the british dregoons. they look great but they are almost too glossy. if the gloss was toned down a liitle bit they would really fit in with trophy and then i could really go on a buying spree

They are actully not too glossy and have nearly the same finish as the Trophy's I've owned. These photos are simply so lousy that the glare effect is pretty mis-leading I am afraid. I'm not sure I would let this put you or your potentially enjoyable spending spree off. :p

I have compared the gloss between my LL and Trophy Zulu sets and I do not notice any major difference in the gloss..

Thanks, I am expecting to get the Nassauers at the end of June, I'll post photos then. In the meanwhile I have just completed a small LL album, you're obviously all invited to visit and enjoy if you'd like to watch my modest photos.

Hello Paulo, and I'll echo Damian's comments here. Nice little collection of LL Naps. If you've never stood before a whole cabinet of these before, it is first a wonderful experience for a time, then slowly turns into a feeling of utter hopelessness as you realize you cannot possibly buy them all.

Looking forward to seeing more from you in the future.

Perhaps at some point a generic, non-brand specific gloss Naps thread would be in order. Just a thought.

Why don't you start one under the diodramas thread.
There is one for the ZULU war where you can post Trophy, LL, WB, Frontline.
There is also a Trophy AZW thread.
I often mix Trophy and LL so I am oftne not sure where to post.

Or maybe under the General Glossy Discussion thread?

Sounds good.
I have posted some pics over on CTSC but they are too big to upload here on TF.
I will compress them tomorrow at work and start posting in the evening. Fell free to start the ball rolling yourself. The AZW has several threads and has been going for ages with over three thousand posts. So a Napoleonic glossy thread would be cool.

Alright, then, I will set something up. :)

Here are some photos of my Little Legion Collection.

Hi Brian,

I decided to give your thread a "bump" after admiring your LL collection in the glass display cabinets.

Yours are the best display images of an LL collection that I have seen so far on the Forum.

Great Job !!

Best, Raymond.

:)

Raymond,

Thank you for your kind words, but I have a long way to go to even come close to the great pictures posted by some of the other members.

Paulo,
A nice collection of my #2 favorite TS manufacturer, or current #1!!!
