I took a picture of the new patterns for our "Little Round Top" hands-on clinic that will be part of the W.Britain Symposium held at the Wisconsin Veteran's Museum the first weekend of August this year. Each participant will walk away with a finished piece for their collection at the end of the class. We are still taking registrations, so If you are interested call us at 1-419-865-5077.
The middle section is the partially finished sample from last year's symposium.

Note the two figures on the center section for scale. We will also be offering a custom backdrop for this scenic.

The three piece set is nothing short of spectacular; Bob? Chris? Would love to see a diorama using this work of art.................

There's going to be custom backdrops made for this so yes but probably limited edition.

Hi again,
I patterned these for our upcoming hands-on workshop at the Wisconsin Veteran's Museum. This is a follow-up to the one we did at Gettysburg last year.

These classes are a lot of fun and the best part is leaving with a diorama element at the end of the day.

We have a new regiment being offered this fall that fought on Little Round Top and this could make a great display base for them. Look for more details later this year.
Ken

This looks so good , throw in a new regiment and youre laughing. As George suggested , I can imagine Bob working wonders with this.

Rob

Will this dio be offered to the regular collector and if so how can we purchase it?

Ken and Erica, I echo that, I can not make the symposium this year but would really be interested in this set. Chris

These rocks had better be available for UK collectors otherwise the UKReb will be severely bending your ear at December's London show ^&grin

I guess I have been warned...so we will figure out a way to get some of these across the Atlantic this fall!
We will post some pictures from the workshop after the Symposium, I am looking forward to it. We all had a lot of fun last year in Gettysburg working on the middle section. We should have some of the backdrops for these printed by then too.
Ken

Hi Ken,
Will these be made available on the Britains catalogue site under dioramas and accessories?
Regards
AC

The company we formed to purchase W.Britain also owns Hudson & Allen Studio. This Company is named "The Good Soldier" and you might notice the name or the logo on the newest labeling.
These larger scenic items will be offered on the website as Hudson & Allen items in the near future.
Ken

Ken, great news, look forward to seeing them available in the future. Is the WB website being updated to include everything available from Good Soldier or will there be a new separate one for Good Soldier? Just curious. Thanks Chris

Good question...
We are updating the site, including the Troiani section. As you might guess our hands have been full with all of the details of the move and new ownership.
By the way...I am working on a new Ohio ACW unit now that the company is located here. I thought you would like that!
Ken

Ken, definitely like the idea of a new Ohio ACW unit. There is a good list to pick from, even a zouave unit. Will there be any new ACW items in the next catalog? Completely understand about the transition. Good to see things getting done, builds confidence that this will work. Like the way WB/H&A are moving forward. Do you have any requests for my next diorama? Thanks Chris
