Hey there, welcome, I am northwest of Baltimore, so a bit north from you.

Hello Dragoon, I'm very much a novice. I am in Southwest Virginia. Close to Tech. My wife's Grandma lives in Boykins. Know where that is?

If you come to New York, drop me a PM. You can see several collections from local collectors like myself and Mark Hoffman, but there is only one toy soldier shop in Manhattan anymore, and it is in the basement of a bookstore on Madison Avenue, so its nothing to write home about.

yes i do I have a weekend place in martinsville and i go right by boykins a couple times a month. I imagine martinsville is not to far from you then? what do you collect?

Hey Rob,

Crossroads is a toy soldier dealer but we don't have a storefront at this time. Chase City is to small to support it. If you are in the area though let me know. I would be glad to meet you.

Thanks
Ronnie

well, i only really collect the crusader line. but, i did buy three 42nd highlanders that i have. which are the only other k&C soldiers that i own besides the tons of crusaders/saracens in my collection.

Always great to have another NAPOLEONIC collector to join the ranks. What are your favorite K&C Nap figs??

I like the cavalry. I would probably have to say the empress dragoons.I beleive those were a new item about when I started collecting K&C and caught my attention. I had never collected before then, except a few Britains deetail when I was a kid.So I looked all the brands I could find over that were in my price range and found K&C to be supereior to the rest. and four years later here i am. Hmm I think everybody has a little story to tell something of the like. That might make for a interesting new thread. A how did you get hooked on the hobby thing. your thoughts? Rob

i'm 20 miles south of ron in va. (speak up va. collectors)!!!!

Yes thats about 4 so far to turn up. And in about a 200 mile range if everyone is where I think they are. Windsor Va here thats Isle Of Wight Co. near Suffolk VA Beach area. But I travel near some of your towns on RT58 heading to Martinsville. So the names are familiar. Rob

Hello Ronnie. I might do that some time. How far are you from RT58?I usually go through a couple times a month.Im guessing this is your store? The only K&C dealer near me is in williamsburg. Which is pretty inconvienant to me.So I usually order online. And once again I will assume you have a website and thats what you do? Rob
