London December 2012 show pics (2 Viewers)

Hi Rob,

Thank you for taking the time to post some great photos of the show. I am sure you had a great time! Keep Andy and Steve A from staying in the bar too late!

Best regards,

Alex

My pleasure guys, an yes Al that Whippet is a real beauty.^&cool

Good to see you too Martyn hope it was a good day for you and your tables mate{bravo}}

Knew I'd forgotten someone, was as always a pleasure to see Dave of TM Terrain, he has some great Vietnam dio's going on right now and also sold me a couple of very nice trees at a great price. Good to chat with you Dave.

Rob

Great pix. Thanks for sharing... Did anybody see any Morgan Miniatures (Aztecs, Conquistadors, French Foreign Legion etc) on display? Gareth's website has been down for a while and the new releases, whilst hinted at, with the occasional pic appearing in places have not really been widely seen... or not by me, anyway.

cheers

Jules

Thank you sooooo much for covering the show so brilliantly! Even being thousands of miles away, it gave me a taste of what it must have been being there! :smile2:

Chris Dude,
Tom and I are enjoying a cold one watching the Wallabies thump Wales in World Rugby. A true gentleman's game. We turn the channel over from watching a mob of sheilas called the New York Giants playing a game of "don't touch me you'll hurt me" and half the team was on the sidelines getting a manicure.^&grin^&grin

Rugby? Oh, yes, the "game" where everybody and his brother tries to commit a biological impossibility. :wink2: Odd what passes for sport in the lower hemispheres :eek:. Too much whinging I suppose.

At least in Rugby Brad there still allowed to tackle.................:wink2:
Oh yeah and no padding helmets etc etc.............................^&grin

Rob, thank you my good man for an outstanding coverage of the show , merci beaucoup
guy

Me too, excellent photos, very much appreciated.

Paulo

Thank for posting the photos Rob

Its a pleasure to serve chaps! :salute::

Rob:

Awesome dude. You're a champion. Those FFL look pretty sweet as. Can you believe Howard let some guy from the Territories stay at his place? Yeah, neither can I, ha ha. Before you know it, they'll be watching American football too.

Chris my friend, compared to the favours you've done me its chicken feed but a pleasure to help mate:salute::The new Foreign Legion figures look the muts nuts and I know you'll love them, bet they won't be around long at 100 sets each though. I've a feeling Howard may have something to say re the latter part of your post!

Keep it silly Big Dude. Tom sends his greeting.

Told you Chris!!!^&grin Howard, no apologies needed here mate, hope you can join us in the bar next year.{bravo}}

Thanks to Rob and Jeff for the excellent photos!:smile2: Everything looks wonderful.^&cool^&cool Wish I could have been there . . . I especially liked the Yeomanry Miniatures mobile canteen, the JJD Whippet Tank, and the Trophy WWI German Lancers . . . I wonder who snapped those up!

Did anybody see any Heco Tinplate Models or CJB Models at the show?

Happy to do it Louis, sorry mate I didn't see any Heco etc, but Jeff and the guys got a longer look round than I did so they may be able to help.

Well I'm glad you like the pics guys, I'm not a good photographer by any stretch of the imagination but I hope you enjoyed what you saw.

Finally and before anyone asks about the barmaid, you see I wanted to go to the Hilton Hotel where the barmaids are all hired for their looks, wear skimpy attire and hand out free drinks to all visitors from the Toy Soldier show. But noooooo, the guys all insisted we went to a local pub where the barmaid was a big hairy bloke! So no pics I'm afraid:wink2:

Rob

Way to go with these two tanks.....the Whippet is beyond good and will be in my Xmas stocking, The AV7 well, there will a conversion coming on to 'MESHISTO' which lives at the Queensland
museum here in Brisbane, captured by the A.I.F and brought home as a trophy of war....{bravo}}
Wayne.

Rob, Great Job on getting the London show pics thread up and running :salute:: ......Quick ! From the looks of the main show floor King&Country UK had one big display :salute::

Great photos Rob. Its nice to be able to see these sets in such detail - the next best thing to actually being at the show. Liking the TM terrain Vietnam dio pieces - just what I'm after. Many thanks and well done for getting these up so fast !
