Froggers.jpg

Is it me? Do I win?

Ugly mugs from bottom left clockwise:
Trooper Alan
Me
And the tone drops from there for the next few ....
Robert of UK Rebeldom
Eazy James (vicious rumour apparently)
Royal Mail Rob
Andy Otto UKBOD
John Cleese of panda1gen fame
The delightful Mrs O'Brian (at least I hope it's Mrs O'Brian, or John has got some explaining to do when he gets home ;))
John O'Brian (Obee) himself
and lastly, some guy with too much green paint on his hands, Jeff someone or other.

Special mention has to go to Petunia, our delightful bar host, who performed an Olympic standard gymnastic feat in order to get the overhad shot.

Many Thanks Simon,

It really nice to know who the UK Treefroggers are.

Cheers, Raymond:)

Won't here a word against Petunia, the way she entertained us behind the bar showed great athleticism, admirable in a bar maid!.

As for all you guys in the photo,I don't won't to come across as sentimental because of course we Brits are are all stiff upper lips etc,(i'm sure theres a link back to petunia in there somewhere),but I just want to say it was great to see all you guys in the bar on Saturday. These guys, this motley band of brothers have become friends over the last few years and its an absolute highlight to see you all everytime. Its also good to be joind by visitors from afar each year, this year it was a pleasure to see Obee and also Chris McKenna who is a dude.Long may our UK Treefroggers gatherings continue, and if I didn't have a single penny to spend I'd still prostitute myself up to London to scrounge a drink off you lot! (although £1.17 probably wouldn't get me to London, but you know what I mean;))

See you all in December!

Rob, this hobby is not just all about Toy Soldiers. Well said. :)

Jeff

Btw, I didn't realise that Simon was on first name terms with the barmaid!:rolleyes::D

Maybe I misheard Jeff, maybe she was talking about flowers and inviting Simon to come into her Garden?;)

Rob

It seems the barmaid was a real hit, especially when she climbed onto the chair to get just the right angle.
Those smiles on our faces are very genuine! :D

Great pics Jeff.Theres no doubt that for the launching of new product Chicago is number one by a mile, but for sheer variety of TS representation and fellowship of the collectors London holds the title.

Rob

Tom mate,
Let me know when you want to go to a London Show and you and I (a Reb and an Aussie) will take on the might of the British Empire in the Bar. We might even pick up a few cheap retired sets along the way. What am I saying they have a VAT. The beer is probably too dear and too hot to drink also.
Cheers Howard

PS Simmo, OZ, Wayne, are you guys interested?

Rob, Indeed it is!

These are the last 20 photos that I took from the many, many trade stands.

There are loads and loads more that I could have taken but I would still be there now!

You just have to be there to appreciate the shear scale (no pun intended) of the toy soldiers available.

Waited until this morning to insure I got to see all of the photos taken at the show and to make sure I didn't miss any. A big thank you Rob for taking us to the show starting the parade of photos along with Trooper, UKBOD, Simon and Martyn who followed with theirs an once again to Jeff who brought the show to a close with his numerous photos to insure we got as much coverage as possible of the show. Thanks Lads from across the pond for taking us to it and making us a part of it...............The Lt.

Thanks again to all for the great pics and what is this lurking in the background of this pic?
