London Show June 2015 - "SPECIALS" (1 Viewer)

That makes about three, right? You have the Trophy one and think you had one by British Toy Soldier Company. Would you mind posting a photo of the last one?

Brad

Hi Brad, I've got 2 LL launch's but no Trophy....I think LL are as good if not better than Trophy.

These are my other launch's that I made myself.

Figures - Little Legion, Dorset and Trophy

Steam launches - Sail boats purchased from Dorset Toy Soldiers and converted

My British Toy Soldier Co boat is a large Nile paddle steamer, I don't think Patrick made a launch.

I also have the WBritains paddle boat and 2 LL dhows......and of course HMS Lion{bravo}}

The harbour is pretty full^&grin

That's right, I remember you saying that you didn't have the Trophy one.

You made those yourself? I'm very impressed. I'm Mr. Thumbs.

Thanks Brad:salute::

I converted them from sailing boats sold by Giles at Dorset Toy Soldiers, I bought three from Giles and kept one as a sailing boat and converted the other two into steam launches.

I Had lunch in the Lighthouse Cafe in Simons Town in March earlier this year - which is opposite the entrance to the Naval Base. Super place - which your great new boat stern pleasantly reminded me of.:D jb

I love the way Mike, at LL, changes the positions of the horses heads slightly to create a different look for each one. The colours of the horses also add to the appeal, IMO
