London Show March 2012 Photo Report! (1 Viewer)

Finally on to Yeomanry Miniatures. Brian had several of his new vehicles on display with different sets of figures to accompany them. He also informed me that Graham Pettitt of Toy Army Workshop fame has agreed to make some new masters for him which will be good news for the myriad TAW fans out there. The first of these should appear later this year. I believe that various lorries and heavy artillery are on the agenda. Trooper

And the last ones from Yeomanry. As you can see Brian's daughter, Kate, was exhausted by the end of the day.
It was a long day and my thanks are due to the traders who put up with my attempts to photograph their wares, their patience is much appreciated. Apologies for the poor quality of some of the pics but it is not easy trying to photograph while supporting yourself on a stick. I shall have to try to find some way of turning myself into a tripod. Am halfway there as everyone says I speak fluent tripe. Hope you enjoy the pics as much as we enjoyed the show. Trooper

A few personal shots from the show.

One very happy customer shakes the hand of not only one of the nicest guys I know in the business but a genius modelmaker to boot. Thank you David for this superb one-off.

I'm sure most of you guys are now familar with the mug shots of his unholy bunch but just in case from left to right Andy (UKBod); Alan (Trooper); Jeff; UKReb; Rob; James (Eazy); Simon (Wraith). This shot was kindly taken by a "new" delightful bar-maid of Latino origin as I did also ask her in Spanish if she would sit in my seat whilst I took another group shot. Alas guys a polite refusal from the senorita.

Sure wish we had a video of Jeff negotiating our London underground and escalators carrying this Britain's beast-would have loved to have put it on You Tube.

Thanks again guys for always making the London show a real fun event induced with much alcoholic beverage- roll on June-Until the next time.

Thanks guys for some great pictures.

Good to see the John Jenkins new items. The Stukas and Peninsular war look great. At post 63 there were some trees behind the Spanish Civil War display. Anybody know what they are and where come from ?

Always fun to spot some unusual items such as the conga line and the English Civil War figures.

Thanks again.
Regards
Brett

A bit late to start posting and apologies for duplicates but the more photos the better I believe.
