London Show March 2012 Photo Report! (1 Viewer)

A really BIG thank-you to all who took the time to take and show pics of the London Show - especially for some of the smaller makers who don't get a lot of exposure as some of the major makers. Much appreciated - hope you had a good time too.

There are some wonderful products out there - which just seem to get better and better each time.

Loved that pyramid of Royal Sigs, White helmets display team castings (on page 5) - taken by Jeff. Can you remember who makes them please???? Gotta have them............johnnybach

Many thanks to all for the great pictures and reports from the show, yes even Simon who graciously(?) took time from his busy schedule of shenanigans, tired old jokes and barroom debauchery to take some very nice photos of the LL tables. :smile2: B.

Busy schedule of shenanigans?
Tired old jokes?
Barroom debauchery?

That's out of order. At no time have I ever declared that I was busy. I'll have the rest though.

THE only shot of the barmaid. Taken after UKReb had left the building, she approached to obtain Bob's details for the harrassment order she's now pursuing. I understand as a result of the conversation with Rob and James, a further 2 orders are being applied for......

James. Completely sober, making some random comment about a wholesome figure, which I can only presume he has in his left hand.

And finally Rob. Also completely sober, I=phone shopping for new sequin supplies.

Our fault Rob. We hadn't really taken on board that when you said you needed pee pee, you meant you needed it NOW! We'll take more heed next time.

That is great coverage, guys! Thanks for posting all of those pictures. I see that Heritage Miniatures is really making some strides. I really like that English Civil War range! Is there a dealer in the USA? There was one picture that I caught of GNM knights... is that an Agincourt range? Are they glossy or matte? Is there a dealer in the USA for these?

It amazes me how much product there is out there not only figures but accessories too!!! I wonder how all that stuff gets absorbed in the marketplace... {sm2}{eek3}

The ECW did look good, very good as a matter of fact.

Thanks once again good Sirs for bringing me across the pond and to the show with your photos and sharing it. Looking good there lads................The Lt.

Hi John,

These are 30mm and made by Scarlett and Gold,

You would be in your element at one of the shows, plenty of castings and old stuff to strip and repaint.

Jeff

30mm!!!! Doh! Cheers Jeff - just too darned small. I have some 30mm flats for over a year now - still in the "One Day Sam" box.

As to the show - if I can ever get in synch with the timetable - I'll tube it in! jb

The ECW figures are actually some of the oldest figures in the range, but they keep getting overlooked for some reason :)

It's going straight in the loft isn't it? Big Wuss!

Fortunately, I was sober as a judge and guided him away from paths of evil. Re the meal, my pleasure. Consider it a thankyou for letting me have your credit card number. :)

Hey Guys,

another great day yesterday- cheers again Simon for the fish and chips!
Realised I spent from 12:30 to 6:45 sitting in bars necking beers! Great stuff.
Luckily my homing instinct got me back to Birmingham.
Always a pleasure meeting up with the gang Bob, Andy, Jeff, Rob, Simon and Trooper and all the others who come along throught the shows.
