As you can see there didn't seem that many people there although the March Show usually has the lowest attendance.
My highlights from the show were the BEF from Empire - the two figures I saw look like a good start to that series, so I may possibly get them in June. Best of luck to the Empire team for the future.

I love the Heritage Zulu Lancers and I may get a couple in June as well as a few more Black Watch Highlanders (I got four yesterday). More than happy with them, thanks Ken, Martin and Bruce.

I got my first four Little Legion figures (all Sudan) as well. I'e been looking at buying some over the last few shows and finally took the plunge. I will definately be adding to them in the future.

What did I buy, well more of the usual - Nile and Zulu.

Otherwise a good show, nice to meet the chaps as well as the traders again, see you all in June.

Andy

Thank you Martyn, Andy and Gazza for shooting & sharing all of the great pics of the show! It's quite an effort to post so many images on a message board.

Hi Andy,

Thanks for the positive words tether BEF, that is really nice of you and appreciated. Just so you know, they were the paint masters from my painter and they are going back on Monday for the webbing to be corrected. The show was the first time Ihad seen them myself!

If you did not pick up a release list, please feel free to e-mail me at malcolm@empiremm.co.uk and I will send one over. Lots of good BEF items coming out from May onwards!

Please come by and say hello in June.

Best regards,

Malcolm. :salute::

If only Guy Ritchie was passing by
Nice to see photos from the show and that the British contingent is going strong

Hi John and all,

I have to first and foremost thank you all that went to the London Show and took " sooo" many pictures so as to share them with us from abroad......:salute:::salute::it must be quite an experience to be at one of these, hear the chat and meet guys that enjoy what we enjoy most.....toy soldier collecting....

Secondly I thank John on having identified right away the Mk IV 18 pdr......I could not readily place it in the context and was planning to reachout to my artillery reference books to try and identify it....could not understand the "ring on the barrel ".......and was missing the superimposed muzzel brake over the barrel.....none of my 18 or 13 pdrs looked like it.......{sm4}{sm4}....now I know why....they are the early Mks and this one is a later version.....

Once again thanks you all...

Artillery_Crazy

Thanks for posting the images from yesterday's show, it always brightens my Sunday morning seeing what's new from London.

Its good to see more WW1 Artillery coming out from Model Armoury, and this time a gun from late in the war, and into the 1930's, the 18 Pounder Mk IV

I think that this could be the first time this particular version of the 18 Pounder has been made :)

I also love the camp scene that Nik, of Alexanders Toy Soldiers, has made, he's so good with this sort of diorama, I may just have to order some :)

Looking forward to more images today from the other guys ???

Keep up the good work, being on the other side of the world, I appreciate your efforts.

Thanks to all the guys for taking the time to take pictures and upload them onto the forum. The show did seem quiet but Tom from guideline said they had 500 through the door which isn't bad for march.

Hi Friends, how can I get in contact with Tarrants Toy Soldiers...?
I have seen a picture here of his stand at the fair but other than the phone number could not pick up an e-mail or web site.....I thought I had the link to TARRANT but when I tried to access it it is no longer working.
If by any chance you have the contact and could share it with me I would be a happy camper...saw a few very interesting sets.
Thanks

A very large THANK YOU to those who posted the photos. Not living in England, I can not imagine all the great TS choices from so many different companies that frequent your shows..Michael

Thanks to the brit brigade for the great pictures. My favorite, of course, is the group shot at the pub. A band of toy soldier brothers.
