Thanks everyone for the pictures and narrative...it's almost like being there...almost...

In some ways it is better you do not have to endure a tube trip through London in winter but it would be great to have a drink with the guys at the pub. Thanks everyone for posting these photos.

Gents, that concludes my download.

Had a good show today and had a blast with the guys in the bar. I leave it to far better storytellers to spill the beans and to show off their own imagery evidence.

The show probably arrived slightly too soon for some of the vendors who were waiting on certain items which didn't quite make it. I for one was waiting on the new Nile figures from Britains but I was able to pick up the LE Guards Toy Soldier Centre Mahdist Flagbearer on Camel which looks pretty good in the flesh. Since the Nile is one of my major collecting lines I liked the continuing run of figures coming from Heritage (I wish now on reflection that I had bought the new mounted commanders - Indian Lancers looked good as well). Although I don't collect marching sets there new sets do look effective in numbers (especially the Indian Regiments) and I'm sure they will do well.

All in all a good show - numbers seemed down on last year though.

What did I pick up?
Britains Nap Lancer (the remaining one I was missing)
Britains Mounted Mahdist Flagbearer.
WhiteTower - 2 Saxon Infantry and 1 Norman Cavalry
JJD - 3 x Beja sets and Jonesy

Regards

Andy

More of the vast selection of figures etc available from the two hundred or so tables here today. There is something for everyone so it seems.

These are the last for tonight and I will post the remaining one hundred or so photos tomorrow (well later today, looking at the time)

Thanks for all the wonderful images from yesterday's show.

This really makes my Sunday morning, opening up the compuer and staight to the show report.

Looks like another great get together over a pint or 2, and glad to see so many of the people that I met in lst year.

Thanks for the close ups of the Tommy Gun NAPs, they are now on order, and the Frontline Prussians, they may be next?

And this time we all got to see the barmaid :)

Cheers..

John
