London show pics and thanks (1 Viewer)

Man, you guys are good {bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}
James, Jeff, Rob, Simon and everybody who with his pictures helped us participate in this fine Toy Soldier Show and bar-gathering.
The coverage you guys provide actually makes for an enjoyable weekend for many of us around the globe.
Great job, guys, and thanks a lot. :salute:::salute:::salute::

Thanks Guys for that wonderful coverage of the London Show. Some great photos posted - Lots of beautiful glossies!

CC, I tried, but no-one else was playing Eighties retro themes. For info, Kelly was in the car park, the Kawasaki Ninja was powdering it's nose in the ladies, and the F14 was unable to enter the restricted airspace. I promise to try and get a new T-shirt next time (Oh, and by the way, the new Bradleys from Figarti, K&C and FL were fantastic - sorry, forgot to take any photos of them. :))

You've lost that loving feelin mate!! {sm3}

FWIW- If I ever make it over, I have my ROCKY T- Shirt I'll wear so you won't feel alone!! {sm2}

Looks like there was a KC SF04 set floating about for 100 quid- you passed??

Hi Chris,You saw that too I was surprised at the price as well.

To the other guys many thanks for the great photos of all the amazing Glossy soldiers. Can any of you provide some contact information for the following makers: White Tower, Alma and Yeomanry and whichever of the Russian makers was selling those Polish Winged Hussars.

Also think you guys earned a few good beers with all that amazing stuff to sort through.

Thanks again for posting.

Dave,

Alma is owned by forum member Michel (Mardasson) so a pm should get the details you want or check this thread out..http://www.treefrogtreasures.com/forum/showthread.php?11028-Alma-Figures-Crimean-War-Gloss-and-Matt

The Polish Winged Hussars below were part of this company's display.

Hope this helps.

Jeff

I lost that loving feeling a looooong time ago mate. Now I just accept the lod and knackered feeling as graciously as my weary bones allow. {sm4}

Forget the Rocky T-shirt, I wanna see 'Wolverines!'

I was a bit tempted by the SF04 set, but I've already got 2 sets + a few singles from this set (which I'm presently carving up as a means of amusing myself), and there's only so many duplicates you can have in the same display before it starts looking like the Attack of the Clones.
