Look forward to more Jeff, just have to work out what I am going to do for the rest of the day, morning here and I am full of beans^&grin, Robin.

The new KnC range of Alamo figures. These were described by Andy as being manufactured in a hard plastic, so no bendy rifles etc. nicely painted imho and priced at 2 figures for $29, the artillery set at $59 and the mounted Santa Anna $25.

Jeff

K&C plastics figures will be great for massed formations (e.g. Napoleonics and other earlier periods), wargames and backgrounds.

Thanks for the photos Jeff. Look forward to the morn.

Brad

The new plastic figures look to be a winner at those prices. They certainly look good to me. -- Al

Jeff and Gazza, Thanks Much for sharing these London show pics with all of us ! Some really nice looking photos ! :salute:: :salute:: :salute::

Those K&C painted plastics look very good and at a decent price! Should definitely help the hobby in the short and long run. Maybe, we will see more manufacturers experimenting with this type of material to bring prices down without jeopardizing quality!

Thanks for posting all those pictures! The show did look well attended!

I like those ATS Napoleonics! Good size range of figures!

:salute::

Jeff & Gazza,
Thank you for shooting and sharing all the pics. It looked like a ton of fun! As always with the London shows, it's great to see such a vast variety of toy soldier offerings on display. Thanks again for covering the event so thoroughly. Someday I hope to attend a December London show. For now the images and words will suffice quote well. Thanks again for posting all the great pics.

What an experience. If you like cottage industry gloss, WOW. I really enjoyed it as well as seeing all the new stuff from favorites Figarti< K&C, Britains, JJD as well as Tom Gunn. VERY NICE SHOW and even nicer folks. Big shout out to Clive (Grey Goose) as my host, he and Sue treated me royally, I enjoyed there gracious hospitality and we did some really neat things - Bovington Tank Museuem, Corfe Castle, Hever Castle and the highlight - Combined Services Museum in Maldon - exceptional!!!!!!!!! It included the Donnington collection of Arms (over a 1000 military rifles, handguns, etc. as well as a highlight - Peter Mason, the real James Bond, the stuff from him and his wife has to be seen to be believed, just incredible. SO A BIG THANK YOU TO CLIVE AND SUE!!!! I can't wait to come back, I hope my show work gave me a good grade!

I also got to see Andy, but he was hard at work at the K&C UK stand where it was great to see Tony and Dave again as well as meet Mike!

ALso, it was a true pleasure to meet Martin, Jeff and Simon as well as Hoogri! I only wish I had more time to spend with you, but I was too fascinated leaving the stand to find something else new! Hopefully on my next trip, I will make it to the infamous Pub gathering!!! What a show, at the airport and flying out soon, but just too cool.

Also nice to meet the Turners, Ken Jackson, ATS and a whole host of others including one of my all time favoritre makers - Patrick at Sarum!

One final note - Mike at Little Legion has to be exhausted, his stand was busy from start to finish, it took a bit to finally see it and by the time I did, ouch, it was picked clean!

Again, great show and people, thanks for allowing a Yank entry!

Tom

Back soon. :salute::
