London Show report (1 Viewer)

Thanks for the great photos of the dios I did for our CS ranges. I didn't have time to take any of my terrain before we left for the show. Can I use them on our web site?
I thought I would add a little detail about the model houses, painting service and the Figarti factory.
The ruined houses for the CS display were made to display model soldiers but I also thought I may be able to use them next year for wargaming WW2. I need to start again though as they all sold and I probably could have sold them twice over. They sold for £100 to £150 each on the day. I think I will do some more things along these lines for next time but if you want one before that then get in touch.
I have always enjoyed painting figures so I thought I would have a go at painting some plastics and I was pleasantly surprised with the results. I have just been commissioned to make the Magnificent 7 town in 54mm so thought I would try painting the main characters up in plastic. Can you recognize them all?
Prices for painting is £8 +cost of figure.
The factory came out of Clive's idea to display the internal details of the Figarti Tiger in natural surroundings. I thoroughly enjoyed trying to represent an old industrial area. The controls on the back wall come from my spares box of old Tamiya kits- they will always come in handy sometime and the pully and Rsj system are plastic rod and wheels from an O gauge railway. Get in touch again if you want anything like it.

Overall, the show was terrific. It is always great to say hello to everyone (we didn't have time to say much else!) and to see the reaction to the ranges we are selling- John J has surpassed himself with the whaling boat, the CS tanks seem to go from strength to strength and First Legion releases just get better and better ( I can't wait for next year for the British).
