Do the companys ie. Britains, K&C, Figarti etc...also sell from their stalls or are they just there to showcase the product?

All in all looks like a great day was had and a busy one for the vendors.

Hi Scott,
Sorry, I missed your post last night. Yes they were all selling and doing rather nicely I believe.

Carlos, Pat,
A pleasure.

Pat, I'm sorry, I didn't even clock the elephant until I just rechecked the photo. I must have beem clicking away in a bit of a daze, so I'm afraid I can't furnish you with any further detail, nor a clearer image.

Hi UK BOD and Simon,

Thanks for all the wonderful pictures. I would love to attend the London show someday and enjoy the excitement. It looks like a terrific experience.

Simon:

On frame 68 there are some pictures of figures produced by W. Britain. An elephant with three riders and a tall banner or flag is seen in the background of the second picture. Do you have any information regarding this piece?

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

WOW you have good eagle eyes Pat !!!! It appears to be in between the new redcoat/FIW series and the new (modelzone) Zulu release. Perhaps they are bring back the Durbar ? That would be neat!!

Excellent photos - very informative.

I am glad I am not attending. Would not know how to get all my purchases home. :D

I managed to get a shot of the elephant you noticed in Simons pics-All I got from the young girl attendant was it was the first of a possible Durbar series-it was an excellent piece that took my eye but I forgot to mention it when talking to Richard Walker-sorry Pat but I got too involved in the ACW generals-as you would expect

Lovely photos mate, you make many of us wish we were there. Can you tell me something more about what appears like the 95th Rifles at the top of this post #37; are they Morgan Miniatures and what size, price, where to find them etc??

The Rifles are actually from the Crimean period (I said Naps and they said no Crimea) and are produced by Morgan Miniatures. Size was 60mm ish and they're available from MichToys in the States. I didn't see the Rifles or the Pirate Cannon though.

GNM as far as I can see are a cottage-based industry and don't have a website. If you want I'll send you their address and contact number (Brit address) by PM. Price for castings are £8 per figure (infantry) I don't know how much for mounted and for painted.

Rgds

Hmmmmmm, this is going to be very tempting I think. I don't suppose they gave any sort of time frame on this did they?

Hi Dave!
The Durbar in Matt should appear in the January catalog. The piece on display was a resin duplicate that we decorated for the evening event.
More in January...
