Heritage Figures - The WWI cavalry were outstanding as was the ACW cavalry. I also liked the German field guns but my favourite was the ECW figures. Certainly different - only wish I had the wallet to buy a whole front line of them.:D

The first time I have seen both the Black Hawk and EOI Roman series, nice figures but I particularly like the Roman Cavalry - the horses are superb.

Sorry couldn't get any Little Legion shots as on both occasions I was there it was Chocca.

All in all a very good show, I'm now thinking about buying some glossies as they do look good. No sign of the recession which is a good thing although when I had a look over the whole hall there weren't too many younger guys. A great show then with now more wants then when I entered.

Highlights:
Man of the show = Morgan Miniatures Aztec figure (should have got)
Vehicle of the Show = K&C WSS121 Halftrack (Did get)

Those ATS wagons and artillery sets look great. I think I'd be a big Napoleonic glossies collector if I lived over there and had better access to ATS and LL. Thanks for the ongoing reporting. :)

Andy,

You obviously missed me, as I was represeting both the 'Youth' and 'Good looks' categories

Great photos and great show summary, sorry I didn't get to meet up. I'll download the photos I took and see if there are any gaps I can fill.

Cheers
Simon

Looks like Napoleanics are going to be strong in 09 and Traditional toy soldiers are still going strong or making a big comeback by the showing of the pictures.I don't collect traditional glossy so I don't really know.

Thanks Andy for the time and effort you spent once again on reporting on the show and for the Trophy figures on your way out looks like you had a great time as well as heading home with some goodies........The Lt.

I'll try not to duplicate too much of what Andy has posted, and I hope Andy doesn't mind me adding additional photos to his thread, it just seems daft doing another one, so.....

Instead of the 'show figure' that is sometimes given away at the likes of Chicago, K&CUK, very kindly included one of these for all those attending the evening bash.

Clive had this dio made up for him by David from TMTerrain. It really is an awesome piece (more of his stuff to follow), and provides a very nice backdrop for the Tigers

All terrain pieces made by David, who used up 2,000 individual bricks in the process. He was found in a corner dribbling and mumbling random 4 figure numbers. ;)
All pieces were available for purchase.
