London Toy Soldier Show - June 2015 (1 Viewer)

I'm afraid I only managed to snap a few pictures in between selling some of my highly collectible items to discerning fellow collectors :rolleyes2:

Personally I thought the Show was great, I managed to pick up some beautiful LL sets that Mike had produced at Little Legion ^&grin plus a couple of Trophy pieces including a rare Kitchener, more about those later.

I will post most of the LL pictures on the LL thread but here are a couple of LL new releases

66th Regiment - Second Afghan War

Napoleonic War

Dismounted Cavalry

A couple more Little Legion

Unfortunately I never saw Jeff who is one of our prolific Show photographers but I now other Happy Snappers were there and they will no doubt be posting soon.

It was great to catch up with Bob (UKReb), thanks again mate for the great Confederate figures you gave me :salute:: Clive (Lurchio), slaving over his many tables and taking loads of money, I shall be around later to help you count it:wink2: Trisha of MKL, always enjoy our chats. There were many more collectors and sellers too numerous to mention.

Now over to the LL thread ^&cool

Hi Scott

Glad you liked the pictures

No large Trophy collection.......but most importantly I did manage to pick up the Gun and Limber that I needed for those great Confederate gunners:wink2:

:(:( no show photos, (yet) :) I did get a email from Wraith who was on his way home but feeling a little hmmm....let's just say good times had at the bar!!!! but he did mention he took a lot of photos and will post once he has the time, or the hang over wears off which ever comes first^&grin^&grin...Sammy

You'll be pleased to know that I've made it through to the other side and am recovering well from what I can only presume was a dodgy burger, as the beer seemed fine to me (although I did have to keep sampling it to make sure).
I'm just uploading photos on to photobucket, but the hamsters on the wheel inside my computor aren't running too fast.
I'll get them up as soon as I can.
Cheers

Hi John

Glad you liked them, unfortunately my mate Jeff wasn't able to make it or we would have been inundated with some great shots.....I'll bet Simon has plenty to keep everyone happy :wink2:

Hi,

I only had time to take some quick images of our stand but hopefully these will be of interest to you all.

I would like to once again thank all of those who went to the show and remembered to set aside some of the precious time dedicated to scrutnizing the many stands and peeling off the layers of offerings to snatch a precious finding...to take pictures and share them here at the forum. That makes a world of difference for us from overseas....Need to workout the $budget$ to fly to one of these great events some time... meeting some of you would be the icing on the cake...:salute::
Once again thanks for the pictures, they give me a glimpse of what is out there!
Cheers

I think we're there!

First a couple of shout outs.
Many thanks to our forum hosts, Shannon and Pete who got the first round in at the pub from many thousands of miles away! Very much appreciated by all. The bar staff were a little surprised when we asked for 6 pints of single malt and Pete, don't worry about any 'funny' transactions on your credit card, it's all above board. ^&grin

Secondly, as well as the usual suspects, with whom (whom / who? - Martin?) it's always a pleasure to meet up and get merrily tipsy with, it was great to meet up with Martin. Apologies for butchering your accent and despite what his fellow countrymen say about him, he's a stand up bloke.

The show seemed a little quieter than normal for a June show, but enjoyed it all the same.

So......photos, in no partricular order.....
