I agree Michael, it is a shame we don't have the same type of cottage mfg over here.
I wonder why no one tries it over here.

Thanks for the info Simon! :smile2: Did you lift one up? Were they heavier white metal or tinplate? If they are tinplate I must get them!^&grin
Thanks to Rob, Martyn, Trooper, Gazza and Simon for the show coverage, much appreciated guys.
Pleasure Scott. As Gazza says, I know how much I enjoy the reports from the shows I can't get to.
Was Jeff there? I haven't seen him around lately. Hope he is okay.

Louis,
Gotta confess to being a complete amatuer with this stuff. They were dfinately 'folded and cut' metal sheet, as opposed to something that had been cast. No idea what the metal was. Both Andy and I commented on how cheap they were (to the untrained eye).

Would Hocker be one?How about Metal Shed?In the kit side of the hobby it is mostly European and Asian.I can only think of Michael Roberts and Time Machine Miniatures here.

I definitely have to get them then, especially at those prices! ^&cool^&cool Now to figure out how . . . ^&confuse
Just to say thanks to Gazza and Rob for the great images. It is almost like being there. The nest thing about the shows is not the big boys K and C and WB etc. They all have great online presences so whilst it is great to see their stuff it is not new. What I like is all the smaller manufacturers Metal Shed and WM Hocker from the US and LL ATS etc from the UK.
Thanks guys.
Maybe Shannon can be persuaded to open a section dedicated to the British makers so that they can post all the new releases direct to the forum. Trooper
