Always liked this theme, but never pulled the trigger unfortunately. Now satisfied to view your collection instead Duke. Robin.

A good scene Duke. Love the LRDG. Thank you for sharing.

Cheers,
Grey

Excellent Duke :salute::

You're making me think of digging out my own LRDG bits and bobs !

Figarti made some good British desert pieces like this one. Also in 1/30 I have the M7 Priest, Monty's M3 Grant, and the desert Sherman. I have the Honey Stuart tank and LRDG jeep in 1/32.

Great piece mate and awesome scene

Thanks mate

Thanks Steve, these were on my list at one point, unfortunately not high enough to come to fruition. Robin.

I got both the Figarti and King & Country versions. The KC looks smaller compared to the Figarti but the figures that came with it are about the same. I was a bit dismayed when I ordered both thinking they are the same size.

However, when I researched these vehicles, I discovered that there is a smaller version of the CWT 30...the CWT 15. The vehicles are identical in construction except for the rear wheel well and bumper design. So, yo can actually display both side by side. The LRDG used both models and other truck design by Ford and Chevrolet. The CWT 15 was the pilot vehicle used by the LRDG until replaced later by the Jeep.

Great thread lads, massive fan of the WW2 desert ranges and in particular the LRDG/SAS stuff. Still hoping Andy adds a few more figures to this excellent older series……
