A remote location provides some shelter for a Luftwaffe Me 109 as Adolf Galland visits to help boost morale. A few pictures of something I have been working on.

Very nice,and very effective backdrop:cool:

Thanks guys. The Me109 is from Corgi. The figures are all K&C with one Del Prado.

That's the Gerhard Barkhorn model. Didn't that come with 3 figures? I think I didn't use the figures because they were too small and not that good, but the K&C figures look really good with it. Maybe I'll have to get a few of the K&C Luftwaffe figures. (And some British and American ones for those models)

Oh Oh, the slippery slope.:rolleyes:

The Corgi plane is #34907 Messerchmitt Bf109G-6 Hauptmann Anton Hackl. You are right about the three figures. They are not very good and very small. The plane looks better with the K&C figures. I am hoping that K&C will make a Messerchmitt of Folke Wolfe.

Nicely done... I really liked the Corgi aircraft. A great product at a good price.
The Bf-109s are so small when you see them in person that the figures look fine here.

How do you think the K&C figures would look with the slightly larger Corgi Spitfire, Hurricane and Mustang?

Terry

The Corgi planes are actually smaller, scale 1/32 that's why I ordered the K&C
P51. Will try to post pictures of both later this week.

I have several Corgi Hurricanes & Mustangs and they are fine with K&C figures. I even have them displayed next to the new K&C planes. They look fine. K&C is slightly bigger but still looks fine.

I've got that Barkhorn plane too! You've created a nice diorama there, the plane stands up well with the K&C figures. I started buying Corgi 1/32 scale long before K&C started making polystone warbirds. Other than a slight size differential I think the Corgi's stand up very well. The figures are another issue! I will however be purchasing some K&C birds and supporting ground crews when they release more planes in the near future like the Me-109 and Spitfire etc.

I used a 21st Century ME (I think it was 21st century-memory playing tricks on me)for my dio.It worked quite well with K&C figures, the figures were a tad big but I think it worked ok.Would post a pic but don't want to sidetrack Andy's thread.

Have you tried the "forces of valor" ME 109's ( scale 1/32) they go well together with K&C figurines

Great Dio love the back ground and be patient a new German plane cant be to far away.................:D
