Recently got the M48A3 Marine version of this tank. I have taken just a couple quick shots of it along with a couple of K&C soldiers. I was hoping it would go together scale wise with K&C figures and IMO does very nicely. I've also included a picture of me standing next to a M48 for scale reference. I think the comparison between my size against the real tank and the K&C figures with the TCS model are very close. I have added antennae to the turret. I bought this tank planning on repainted/remarking it, but for the most part do like the paint and markings as is. I may just add some weathering, repaint some of the details and spruce up just a little instead of redoing the whole model. One thing with it though, the driver figure's head will not fit underneath the cannon. I have to turn the turret to the side a little so his head will be clear.

This is one HEAVY model! One of the heaviest I own I think along with the TCS Tiger I's (Wittman and Winter). I do like it and think it will display great and am glad it goes with the K&C Vietnam figures. I plan to take some better dio pictures with it soon.

It's great to know it goes well with the K&C nam figures! I wasn't very sure to move along with it, but now I'm confident! Thanks Duke!

Thanks for posting! I’ve been tempted to get the TCS M-48 now that I have their M113. Glad to see it works with the K&C figures as well.

Thats sharp looking, nice pics!

Looks great mate

Thanks guys for the comments. I thought it might be helpful to some to show with K&C figures.

Steve, I know you will take some great photos when you get yours and mix with your K&C figures. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Here's one more shot of the tank, more from above to better see some of the details.

hue4.jpg Heres a shot of the Collectors Showcase Pattonhue3.jpg with the K&C Marines street fighting in Hue. I agree this is one Heavy tank.

OK, this might be really dumb question but does the green of the M48 go with the green on the KC Marine uniforms?

That’s a great looking tank, thanks for the great pictures.I have the First Legion model, and king and country look terrible with it.doesn’t appear Andy is going to produce one.So I might have to pick one up!!

I think Andy said he is making one but I would grab one K&C still haven't improved much in the tracks area.

I got myself the TCS USMC M38A3 last week... I really like the model 😃 The tooling is pretty accurate, it has nice details with all the stowage, etc. and a nice amount of weathering without being over or underdone. Here are a few pics of my TCS M48 display on the TCS large diorama base with some of the TCS Vietnam Marines:

TCS make some good product for sure, this is an example. I have the Huey and M113 which I am happy with. Robin.
