March 22, 2021 News Update - The Fur Trade (1 Viewer)

Robin,
Love the scene, so many characters and poses. I like the variety of buildings as it adds to your frontier look. I like that you add figures from other ranges.

Wow, that's a great scene ! The 'Fur Trade' line is so unique & colorful-and it's going to be fun to see the boat in all it's glory.

Is it Bass?

Wonderful model and figs. Chris
All I can think of when I see this is a show from my childhood when Davy Crockett (Fess Parker) took on Mike Fink in a battle of the river keel boats. -- Al

Does anyone know when the flatboat is going to come out and know around how much it will cost ? a ballpark figure will suffice.PM me if you don't want to say publicly.

Mark, there has been nothing said from John that would begin to answer your two questions; when and how much. On the FB JJD Collectors group there have been some opinions shared to the expected cost ranging from around $298 to $350. Suffice it to say, it will be a nice addition to any collection and well worth the expense. I have already started to save up for it :wink2:
:smile2: Mike

That's not a bad price if it's close to what they are saying.I haven't been able to collect much for a while but I would love to have it.

Not soon enough, i was thinking the same thing, price? I think i saw somewhere that the figures might be seperate.

I do not collect this series but think this will be landmark piece and thou possibly a high price will be a great seller and a centre piece of many collections.

I asked a couple of people from whom i buy JJ and they would not hazzard an estimation of price.

I started to collect the series but the prices are just too high for me right now but this would be a nice centerpiece for me too.I remember when I started collecting JDD. My first set was FM-05 Of the Monongahela series.2 figures, Beaujeu and Dumas $50 so the prices have went up a tad.{eek3} Just a sign of the times.^&grin
