Tony mate.
Your dios are realistic, but you could probably get away with a splodge or two of red paint for the wounded and dead figures. Sacrificing your own is probably more than you need to do, but I admire your dedication. ;)

Shouldn't that be blood sweat and Mars Bars!;).

Yes i am a bit 'previous' with the March show, its just now that i start thinking how much dosh i'm going to spend on the day,i like to start early then nip round to Pret for a Hot chocolate before i start my next round of spending!:D

Guys

mind set on this now and boy i think for March it is going to be a good one!

ALL tables booked and there are ALL the major players at this one. with Clive looking after Figarti in Europe now we have ALL the manafacturers here.

At the last December show Norman Joplin reported that he found a Britains figure that was as rare as the infamous white buffalo! he had heard about the figure but never seen it. Well at the London show in December he got it after many many years looking for it.

So London is not only the place to see new painted stuff you can also by all accounts pick up some very very rare things.

Something for everyone.

Are froggers going to be issued with badges that they can wear with pride and also allows forum members to identify each other amongst the thousands of collectors which I have no doubt will be there.
My suggestion for identification tags for last December's show which you guys then kindly supplied on entry- I believe was a roaring success.
Sure hope we can repeat something on the same lines for the March show.

I'll be able to recognise Rob-he'll be wearing an American Civil War hat as he goes searching for Yankee/Reb figures- but I would sure like the opportunity to have a chat with other froggers who will be in attendance.

Good idea again...............i think we should make it a set thing now or at least make them so you guys can keep them!

Templer i think yours looks cool! print that out and i will supply the plastic badge holder for it!

I have just ordered the stationary for the badges so all set my end!

Hi Tony,

Got my credit card, got my vouchers, got permission from the boss,i'm all set to go!.Hoping to see lots of you guys there next Saturday, also hope to be staying well into the afternoon this time.(my wifes going shopping in London with her sister:);))

Rob

Unfortunately, I'm not going to get to this one. A whole series of badly timed events prevent me from going. The wife is working nights on the Friday and Saturday, the kids have got a Birthday party to get to on Saturday morning and the day before, I'll be having six teeth extracted . So overall, I'll be at home feeling sorry for myself and sucking up my lunch through a straw.

I shall eagerly await the show report. Sorry to miss catching up with you guys.

Simon

YOUR NOT GOING!!! I TOLD YOU NOT TO HAVE KIDS DIDN'T I?!!!!!!!:D

Hope the the teeth removal goes ok mate, six in one go is a bit steep.I have to go myself next week.I'm having a wisdom tooth put in.;)

Right so i will be relying on James alone to reign my spending in.Right lets think, doors open 7.30.Ok James you need to be there for 7.32 mate!

Seriously though hope it all goes well Simon.Hopefully will see you at the show in June.

Rob

Cheers Rob, I'm hoping the tooth fairy will leave some toy soldier vouchers under my pillow, but the balance of probabilities says I'll be dribbling a gobful of blood on to the pillow instead

Here's looking forward to a couple of weeks of soup and custard. Wahoo! :(

If its any comfort mate, when my wife sees what i've spent i too will be dribbling a gobful of blood!

Simon missed you last December now going to miss you again March and if it's any consolation I'd rather have needles stuck in my eyes than have one tooth out let alone SIX!!!!! Holy Jeosophat!!!!!!!. Hope to catch you next time maybe December when your mouth has healed and you can speak again. Good luck mate!

Rob
I've gained big brownie points in offering to take Trudi to London for her birthday 28th March but haven't found the courage yet to tell her about the show. As well as the swanky Mayfair hotel I've booked for two nights I'll offer to buy her anything she sees that she likes at the show. That should do it. What d'ya think? Either way need you to back me up if we happen on you.

No problem mate!.Sounds like you'll have a great time in London. And there's nothing like a swanky Hotel to ease the shock of a Toy soldier show;).Hope to bump into both of you there then.Maybe just as you hand over your credit card i'll shout 'Look at that Pidgeon up there'!! to distract your good lady:D
