Still trying to get bigger photos attached to new Treads @ The Forum. Here is one showing an overall view of my World War One period using all K&C sets diorama of the "1914...The March on Paris" displayed on a 39 inch round table.

Dear "Captolron":

Thanks you for your comments. Ah, now if I only could get my computer to get bigger photos that are still accepted by The Forum! Back in first part of 2007 when I first got only a small batch of these splendid looking K&C "1914...The March on Paris" series of sets I sent a photo to Andy Neilson of a vignette that included only #4 of the German Infantry marching with rifles among another #10 or so figures. Andy teased me about how great it would look to have #40 of the marching riflemen! Well I am now up to #36 of them, so I came close! Very nice photos that you have posted of your WW1 Germans made by K&C!
Best regards, "Iron Brigade"

Hi Randy,

I have Iron Brigade's original photographs of this display, so I guess I can do it for him.

Thanks, Raymond.:)

Excellent shots was the last one not put in a toy soldier magazine recently?

Gary,

The columns look great. I also like it how you have Corporal Hitler watching from the background.

How did you make the dio piece?

Gary, nice use of ground cover over the fig bases, makes a terrific photo. Great scene altogether.

Ron, what a great collection!

Excellent posts! Don't collect WWI but enjoyed seeing these.

Dear Brad - "Jazzeum":

Thanks for your kind comments about my "1914... The March On Paris" diorama using all K&C sets. As for how the diorama was made. I previously had all sand (from a bag of play box sand from a garden store) on the 39 inch round display table from a prior diorama. Rather than remove all that sand I decided to make use of it. I simply formed a "roadway" with the sand in the center area as you look at the diorama and then poured assorted artificial grass from a local bobby store to cover the sand that was now converted to show the "grassy" roadsides. Also, assorted model trees were added from the hobby shop.

When possible I like to cover the stands of the figures for a more realistic look. It also pays off when taking photos! Of course there are certain displays that do not lend themselves for the use of diorama materials. For example I do not use any diorama materials for my K&C Berlin 1938 series of sets showing a pavement marching scene and Hitler's Berghof sets by K&C.

Best regards, Gary - "Iron Brigade"
