Matte to Glossy (2 Viewers)

Some more from the "East of India" company.
Here we have a small group of three commanders.
In the center, it is Tokugawa Ieyasu wearing Japanese/Portugese armor and seated on a tiger skin.
To his left, there is Date Masamune "The One Eyed Dragon", and to his right is Honda Tadatsugu.
Happy Collecting!
Konrad

A much superior set of figures with the gloss. The seated figure and tiger skin look brilliant. -- Al

Hi Konrad,

I certainly agree with Al. These figures are brilliant after you applied the gloss treatment. In fact, they are spectacular! As I view them, I continue to ask myself the question,"Why in the world were they not originally done in gloss?"

Congratulatons on another wonderful addition to your glossy collection!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

Hi Konrad, you must have a tidy number of these matt to gloss figures now, so how about a group photo? :wink2:

Very nice transformation as usual btw.

Jeff :salute::

Hi Jeff,
I am going to make a count this weekend, but am afraid that I can't get all of them in on picture ^&grin
Cheers!

Here's one from yet another different line.
It's from Frontline's "Colonial Classics" series, set CC1 Thomas Jefferson, reading.
Nicely detailed painting on the book he holds.

Not sure what happened to his cheek, he either has one mean cat as a pet or got into an argument with his wife {eek3} ^&grin

Happy Collecting!

More gorgeous work, Konrad. It has become obvious to me that all Frontline should have been gloss. The figures benefit greatly from this treatment. The KC lancers look brilliant, as well. -- Al

He could almost be confused with a porcelein figure Konrad. Well done again for transforming an already nice figure, to something quite special. jb

Spent some time with the "glossy stuff" this weekend :rolleyes2:, and got a few more figures done from the K&C Crimean War collection.
First up, here we have a Russian Hussar, CRW019.
