Michael Wittmann New Release!

TCS is pleased to announce our latest and greatest Tiger I. This beast goes along with our now popular true 1/30th scale vehicle series.

What best to go along with the new King Tiger just released but this fabulous 007 Michael Wittmann tank? We've out done ourselves and added a four figure Wittmann crew that can be posed on the vehicle ready for any reich propaganda photographer to capture.

This baby comes with the well known thrown track option and two crew. All hatches open and close on correct hinging and a winter version is also available. These babies are going to be rare and they are quite limited. We'll have them up on the site in a few weeks for pre-order and are released with our Romans : scheduled at the end of next month ( July ). Pricing for figures and vehicles: unchanged. Keep your ears to the ground for more new releases coming right up!

Tally Hooo!!

Okay, Let me go ahead and make room in one of my curio cabinets for at least one more Tiger Tank ! Looks like the add on crew set will be coming too.

... this will be the end for my marriage!

Brilliant looking Tiger tank. As an ex-tanker I think this is a must have {sm3}

Look good but like the king tiger:smile2:s think the paint work look to bright and would look better weathered

Having a good look at it I think the green to bright and stand out for me witch stop it from being a great looking tank

whoo hoo....Very nice 007 tank. One more Tiger to add to my collection from CS. Excellent work Brian.

Wow! Looks great. The painting on the Winter Tiger is much more to my liking than the first one from a few years ago.

Just when I thought I was out, they drag me back in. A great looking release at a fantastic price. I still can't figure out how this company, CS, can keep the prices so reasonable compared to the rest of the market. Well, looks like I'm in for at least one of the versions to add to my two new CS KT's. The add on Wittmann crew is a wonderful idea and they look really well done. Once again, nice job CS. -- Al

Great looking TIGER iv e just pre-ordered one of each, these are a must have, well done Brian and crew.

well. this is a superb rendition of the last tiger of michael wittman. The crew add on set is the best of the bunch for me just gives the releases that something else.

Winter version is my personal favourite and looks excellent. Who said too many tigers?????

Okay...now which of my Collectors Showcase vehicles are true 1:30 scale? I'll replace those that aren't, but I need to ID them. ^&confuse

Measure them and calculate the scale. It's not that difficult if you use the correct official dimensions of the AFV without the gun being part of the length and with/without sideskirts as appropriate. And do not include any protrusions/stowage which are not part of the hull dimensions.

Which ones are you concerned about?

Thanks Brian this will add another chapter to THE GREAT CRUSADE.....

The CS model is very consistent with a late production Tiger built after March 1944.

The new commander's cupola with swing out hatch was introduced July 1943 (CS model has the new cupola and hatch)
Zimmerit was introduced August 1943
Single headlamp replaces dual headlamps Aug 1943 (CS has single headlamp)
Steel rimmed wheels replaced rubber rimmed wheels Feb 1944 (CS has steel rimmed wheels)
Mono gunsight replaces dual gunsight March 1944 (CS has mono)

So the CS model is of a late-production Tiger built after March 1944. The only documented info on 007 was that it was a commander's tank (more radio/less ammo) that Wittmann was told to use as he was leading the assault, and that it had zimmerit (photo of destroyed tank). None of the other features are documented or visible in the photo so with the zimmerit, we can assume it was built after August 1943.

The tiger one looks amazing to me i will want at least one.thanks brian for all the great items that have given and will continue to give me hours of pleasure and fun.

Fantastic! I'm in for the camo version with the crew set. Another great job Brian!^&grin

Question for Brian...I really love your first Tiger. How much of a size difference is there between the two that I could still keep the old model and display it with this one..I would probably re decal one of them with a different tank number..Michael
