I found these great looking F&I and AWI dios on a wargame site and immediately thought of the great job that Mike does with John's figures. I figured that other collectors of this era might enjoy seeing what can be done even on a small scale.

For a minute I thought somebody had actually made a Mike Miller in 28mm!!!

Maybe some toy soldier company could make 54 to 60mm portraits of collectors dressed in the uniform of their favorite period:D

Actually I have seen a figure of the Lt. in a 24th Foot uniform.

I really like the pictures of the 28 mm figures and settings! I enjoy pics of dioramas and set-ups; and these pics depict one of my favortie periods too.
So, these pics hit a home run with me. What is the backstory on them? How long did it take to create the dioramas and paint the figures? Do you disassemble the set-ups affter taking the pics? Just wanted to let you know that I appreciate the time you put into them and the effort in posting the pics.

I had thought of making a figure of myself in 1/32 scale, but as the years go by the amount of miliput just gets more and more.:D

Paul Darnell is world famous in the wargaming circuit, he has made some jaw dropping wargaming displays, including a 28mm Waterloo battlefield.

Paul made a couple of beautiful items for my 20mm collection as well, he is extremely talented..........
