It's a little hard to tell from the photo but could the banners be real thin metal like Somersets? There are some big flags on some of the Lawrence of Arabia mounted.
I'm not at home now so I can't check are the War of the Roses banners resin?

Chuck...
you may be right...
but I would prefer resin over that...
I have always felt if they are too thin...
they are prone to bend...
which would make the paint chip off...
the only reason I even mentioned this...
as they look HUGE to me...
which I like...
but sometimes large flags make a figure unstable...
whatever they are...
I'm getting them...^&grin
they are all fantastic sculpts...

The unstable flag figure is one pet peaves in this hobby. That and grass mats that figures wont stay up on..
My Monarch samurai figs are a pain if they have a banner.

I trust Johns work so much thou I doubt there will be a problem.

I was just told on JJD's Facebook page that his WOR's mounted banner men have resin flags as they are large also...so I'm guessing JJ had addressed this already and these will be resin also...time will tell....either way...I'm getting them...^&grin

Take a look at my shelf display of my WoR collection and notice how large the banners are . . . They are all made out of light weight resin and cause to problems at all . . . That is why I really think the Norman banners will also be made of resin.

Mike...
yea...agreed...
I just looked at them...
they are huge...
if John made those WOR's resin...
I'm confident he made the Saxon's resin...
thanks...

John has used resin flags several times, the Jacobite series, the Gordon series, some of the FiW series, WoR, etc. He hasn't yet used thin metal flags, so I would think the new banners will be resin, and not heavy metal. It's just smart. -- Al

War Park AX004 Tiger I, 1st SS Panzergrenadier Division #424, Battle of Kharkov received yesterday along with Panzergrenadier tank riders and others received in the past week. All very nicely done.

Mike,
The Tiger and figures look great! The tank looks very realistic, and I like the effect of the whitewash over gray. I've yet to see a WP tank in person but have a motorcycle set, a kubelwagen set, and several figures. Does the Tiger have metal tracks? Thank you for the photos and congratulations on your new treasures!

Thanks Joe. Like all the WP armor released so far, the Tiger has metal and moveable tracks. A very nice model at a very good price point.

Very impressive. I'm going to have to try some of their armor but just don't know how it fits in with a K & C armor collection.
The thing is with K & C armor now costing so much I'm no longer buying new K & C armor, so the collection is what it is. If WP starts in on Allied armor I will have to consider making the switch if their prices stay down. Their models look to be wonderfully detailed. Thanks again for the great photos. I really like what I see.

You are very welcome Joe . . .

I also received War Park AX-003 yesterday, Pz. Kpfw. IV Ausf G, 1st Panzergrenadier Division, #715, also known as the "Cammo Panzer IV" on the web. Another very nicely done AFV with metal and movable tracks. It looks like a "kitten" next to the Tiger I :wink2:

I was finally able to collect War Park KH022 & KH023 which were delivered to my door yesterday. They are shown here with my JJD winter Jagdpanther in the first photo. These completes the five figure WP tank crew reloading their AFV (KH022 thru KH026). These five sets are now my favorite WWII German figures . . .

Today I received First Legion TC011 Winter Tank Crew and ten Panzergrenadier figures from the FL Battle of the Bulge WWII sub range. I have them displayed with my War Park AX003 Panzer IV G.

Mike...

is that all of them that JJ has released so far?

Thanks Mike. Yes, that is all of the sets that have been released so far. 7 more figures are being released sometime this month all of which I have on pre-order . . . Had to do something with the cash/gift certificates I received for Christmas.
