Missing LAH Poses and Personalities (2 Viewers)

First of all, an introduction...since we all feel the need to justify ourselves when discussing the LAH series. I don't support the ideas behind National Socialist Germany, but I collect the figures produced by K&C. They are very well done and are historically accurate. I am a historian and not a Nazi.

There, now with that out of the way...:p

What puzzles me about K&C's LAH line are the types of poses they haven't made yet...which to me are obvious choices to make.

Here's the list:

Missing General Poses
  • BDM marching w/squad flag
  • BDM standing w/squad flag
  • DJ standing w/flag
  • HJ marching w/backpack and early peaked cap
  • HJ standing at attention w/backpack and early peaked cap
  • HJ standing w/organizational flag
  • HJ standing w/regimental flag
  • SA marching w/drum kit
  • SA marching w/SA standard
  • SA marching w/storm flag straight up
  • SA standing at attention saluting
  • SA standing at attention w/drum kit
  • SA standing at attention w/arms at sides
  • SA standing at attention w/arms at sides and backpack
  • SA standing at attention w/SA standard
  • SA standing at attention w/storm flag
  • SA standing w/SA standard at his side
  • SS kettle drummer w/peaked cap
  • SS marching w/backpack and early kepi
  • SS standing at attention saluting w/early kepi
  • SS standing at attention w/arms at sides and backpack and early kepi
  • SS standing at attention w/arms at sides and backpack and peaked cap
  • SS standing w/SS standard and peaked cap
Missing Personalities
  • Himmler - w/early SS kepi
  • Julius Streicher - without a doubt a truly evil man, but if K&C made all the other guys, they need to make him too.
And I imagine at some point we'll probably see some:
  • NSDAP officials
  • NSFK troops
  • NSKK troops
  • SA w/long coats
Have I forgotten anything?
 
Forgot these:

  • RAD troops
  • SA marching w/torch
  • SA mounted on horse
 
Not very much interested in SA, but the SA marching w/torch would be cool.
Also I'ld like to see more BDM and RAD.

Good listing kcfan though.

Another texan!!! You will have to watch yall will be getting a reputation down their. I feel I should change my signature to something like Nixons ''Iam not a crook'' to I am not a nazi!!!!!

Same as with Ostrein, not a big fan of the SA. quite happy with additions to the LAH Ist Kompanie. Further Horse troops would be good and, a mounted sepp dietrich would be a good addition. more variations of Flags would be good but, I would like more civillians to pad out a crowd watching the whole affair. there are not many scenes and pics historically where the parade troops are not on show. Thats the point of a parade

Mitch, We Texans do not label everyone from the UK as crass based upon your behavior. Don't know why you had to push that button. ??? Anyway yes a mounted Sepp and some Torch carriers would be a worthy addition.

Neil...

I was not even talking about him to even joke with him. Guilt by association. I have no idea what on earth he is on about now. I just let it slide as I am supposed to be being ignored. seems I cannot talk to another texan now and, clearly mock myself with the Nixon comment in the overall scheme of things regarding recent LAH issues.

Never mind. I should have known. I am thinking of going to Jamaica and becomning a limbo dancer as everything else goes over my head!!!!

I was thinking of some more items which have yet to be created...

Personality figures
  • Adolf Huhnlein - scary looking short dude, head of NSKK.
  • Franz von Pfeffer - SA leader with mustache & medals.
Vehicles
  • Early SA truck - complete with riders and flagbearer.
Buildings/Dioramas
  • Brandenburg Gate - regardless of what else gets produced, this is a must have.
  • Braunes Haus - if done correctly, this could be a must have. You have the standards with eagles at the entrance, the balcony above, and the roof with large flag.
  • Small podium with swastika for speeches - simple yet effective.
  • Some diorama with stairs - representing this or that rally, not sure what exactly. If there is some way they can manage some figures to be placed on the stairs, or somehow descending the stairs with banners, that would be ideal.

I know, right? I've seen so many pics in the history books of those trucks, it just makes logical sense to create one.

As a side note, Mussolini's blackshirts were like that too. Lots of piling into trucks and riding around. If they made the truck generic enough, and K&C made some 1920s blackshirt figures, it would be a pretty versatile vehicle.

Brandenburg Gate..Now thats a great idea... As far as the LAH series goes, I was in way too deep ($$).
I think K&C has run the gamut on on that one. And I never buy remakes of certain figures i.e. Himmler,
Hitler, way too many Deitrich's, Georing, Enough already. How about a USMC marching 8th&I ?

Completely disagree. At very minimum, K&C has to match the poses offered in the old Lineol/Elastolin lines. They have yet to do that, as you can see by my initial lengthy list. Once they have done that, they can discontinue the line.

I agree to a point. It depends which dioramas you want to make with certain uniforms presented. On the surface, yes I agree, we are getting too many repeats. Yet, I think we still need certain repeats, like an early Himmler.

Ugh, no. No more US figures. Done to death. I would rather have a Korean War set featuring Korean and Chinese soldiers. Something different for once.
 
I cannot see why they would even contemplate discontinuing a range with such popularity. IO also diosagree that they look back to some of the makers sets for inspiration and, have anything to catch up on. Many makers have replicated the LAH but, none have done it as comprehensively as K&C

Doubt that we would see a SA truck filled with troops. Plenty of poses for dietrich Himmler etc but, they cover different times You would see Himmler et al marching in parade uniform and, would see them in trenchmacs and grey dress uniform so, K&C have covered the poses for those collectors who want different things from their collecting habits related to the berlin range. Too many is not a problem for me as its better to have a glut than be complaining that they are not done
