Most Unique Item in Your Collection (1 Viewer)

not so unique perhaps, but it's totally different than anything else in my collection:

About 5 years ago Patrick Adams of the British Toy Soldier Company built a Nile Paddle Steamer, I believe he made 3 boats but I am not 100% sure of that, I had one, Clive Gande had another one.
Here is my Paddle Steamer “KHARTOUM” with a complement of Royal Marines and Naval Brigade enroute to Omdurman

After the defeat of the Khalifa at Omdurman the “Khartoum” returns to peaceful use. Here the Egyptian crew prepare the paddle steamer for a party of Thomas Cook travellers to enjoy a cruise up the Nile.

Military figures and equipment - Trophy of Wales

Civilian figures - Trophy and Dorset

Egyptian crew - Dorset

Cheers

Very nice!

As a whole collection, this is probably my most unique..

This is the whole collection of figures made by Wm. Britains for Madame Tussaud's. They were originally made in the thirties. Some are rarer than others and the most special one is HRH The Price of Wales, col. In chief , the welsh guards. Almost rarer than the figures are the boxes. I am still trying to complete the boxes as I only have two of them (if you see any, let me know! {sm4} )

Beautiful Nile Paddle Wheeler Martyn, yet another "crowning jewel" in your collection.

B. :salute::

These I consider as very unique, either due to the fact that the manufacturer no longer exists and few sets were produced or so few are ever sold that people hardly know they actually exist......
Cheers
