Movie lines that have made it into common usage. (1 Viewer)

We're getting lazy, gents. Posts 70, 77, and 78 are repeats of early entries. Thirty lashes with a wet noodle for all concerned.:redface2::tongue: -- Al

All I can say is you guys must have some strange conversations!!! ^&grin^&grin

I can't say I have really heard anyone using any of these lines for everyday conversation.

Perhaps a change of title is needed?

Wayne, I did check. I think you will find that Post #70 by me was a repeat of Ragnar's post#10. Scott's post #79 was a repeat of my post #31. Tom's post #77 was a repeat of Isandlwana's post#58. It's all just fun anyhow, as was my scolding. -- Al

Among movie trivia buffs it's normal. A fair attempt at impersonating the voice helps. A fellow worker used to do Bette Davis saying " But you *are*, Blanche! You *are* in that chair!" if someone was helpless to do something. It's obscure but WE got it.

Most folks can relate to "D'oh!"

Or a change of conversation?
C'mon Scott! You gotta start working some of these one liners in to your everyday speech. Hollywood pays big bucks for writers to come up with this stuff, so we don't have to. ^&grin
