Slightly different theme to a thread Jack had a week ago or so.

I think a few years back we had a thread on movie themes / songs in scenes but I don't think Youtube was so big or popular then (or probably I am slower than most).

So how about some movie scenes with good music. Thanks to Youtube.

I will kick off with a classic. Final battle scene of Zulu with Zulu's chanting, 24th Foot with Men of Harlech and front and rear rank fire.

I have a few more I can think of. Have noted there can be a few different versions of same scene and some are better than others.

Could never forget the opening credits of the film "Where Eagles Dare". Stirring music and movie shots of the plane in amongst the mountains. Enhanced for me personally, as I watched it in a huge hangar, courtesy of the RAF - awaiting transportation by them from an airfield - at the time.

I'd say that the Battle of the Bulge is by far the weakest movie -The Enemy Below, Where Eagles Dare and Zulu are all top notch. This one is for you Rob!

I cannot find the scene in 'A Bridge Too Far' where they play 'Abide with Me'. It looked like Fox removed a few on copyright grounds.
