1923---the premiere of the YELLOWSTONE spinoff series starring Harrison Ford drew 7.4 million viewers which makes it Paramount+'s biggest premiere ever. YELLOWSTONE"s premiere in 2018 had 2.8 million viewers.
THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RINGS OF POWER---Amazon Studios Global TV head Vernon Sanders commented on the spinoff series, “Its been a tremendous success for us, it performed incredibly well around the globe. It is by far our biggest scripted series, it is the most acquisitive show that we’ve put out.
After we finished releasing episodes, we saw a new surge of people come to the service to start the show. We’ve already released the fact that we’re over 100 million, and the number has gone up since then, it’s millions and millions beyond that.
We are really proud that the show drove renewed interest in the books, we saw spikes in book sales. It’s just been a company-wide success and as significant as our investment has been, it has more than paid off for us.”
He added about a possible Season 3, "We are absolutely committed. We have every reason to be excited. They’ve done a tremendous job. It’s a great question about Season 3, we’re probably two to three months in on Season 3, but I think there could be news certainly in the new year.
There’s so much planning and prep that’s necessary for us to get this mounted that the only reason we probably haven’t gotten there quite yet is we’ve just been so heads down in Season 2, but I would expect there to be news in the new year.”
INDIANA JONES AND THE DIAL OF DESTINY---director James Mangold said DIAL OF DESTINY fans will "find out what happened" to Mutt Williams (Shia LaBeouf).
Mangold also replied again to rumors of reshoots and multiple endings, “So I took a b-day break from trolls, but it seems I gotta once again say… We’re not shooting & never shot any new scenes or ‘alt endings.’ Our film is 99% finished, getting rated by MPAA & VFX being completed. Happy Holidays!” When one fan claimed all Disney movies had reshoots, Mangold posted, “I made ‘Logan’ and ‘Ford v Ferrari’ and ‘Indiana Jones 5’ and it didn’t happen on any of them. I can only speak to my experiences. Be well.”
Mangold said the Disney+ tv series will not include Indiana Jones and Helena (Phoebe Waller-Bridge).

When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan, Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team-up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as The Marvels.”
DC STUDIOS---DC Studios co-head James Gunn commented on fan criticism and harassment over the direction he and co-head Peter Safran are taking DCU, “One of the things Peter & I were aware of when we took the job as heads of DC Studios was a certain minority of people online that could be, well, uproarious & unkind, to say the least.
Our choices for the DCU are based upon what we believe is best for the story & best for the DC characters who have been around for nearly 85 years. Perhaps these choices are great, perhaps not, but they are made with sincere hearts & integrity & always with the story in mind.
No one loves to be harassed or called names – but, to be frank, we’ve been through significantly worse. Disrespectful outcry will never, ever affect our actions.
We were aware there would be a period of turbulence when we took this gig, & we knew we would sometimes have to make difficult & not-so-obvious choices, especially in the wake of the fractious nature of what came before us.
But this means little to us in comparison to our jobs as artists & custodians in helping to create a wide & wonderful future for DC.”
WONDER WOMAN---after WONDER WOMAN 3 was shelved, a fan posted that Gal Gadot had been "booted" from the DCU, and James Gunn replied, “I’m not sure where you’re getting that we ‘booted’ Gal."
