NOVA---Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige said Disney+ is developing a tv series based on the Marvel comic book superhero.

DIE, MY LOVE---Robert Pattinson is in negotiations to co-star with Jennifer Lawrence in the movie based on the novel whose synopsis says, “In a forgotten patch of French countryside, a woman is battling her demons: embracing exclusion yet wanting to belong, craving freedom whilst feeling trapped, yearning for family life but wanting to burn the entire house down,” the novel’s description reads. “Given surprising leeway by her family for her increasingly erratic behavior, she nevertheless feels ever more stifled and repressed. Motherhood, womanhood, the banality of love, the terrors of desire, the brutality of ‘another person carrying your heart forever’: Die, My Love faces all this with a raw intensity. It’s not a question of if a breaking point will be reached, but rather when, and how violent a form will it take?”

STRANGLEHOLD---Ashley Benson and Justin Long will star in the movie about a stripper and her ex-soldier husband who decide to rob the strip club where she works.

TRIVIA---in ICE STATION ZEBRA, the Navy submarine USS Tigerfish carries two British spies to the Arctic weather research station Ice Station Zebra to recover the film capsule from a Russian satellite that filmed top secret US missile bases, but someone on the submarine is a traitor. McGoohan and Masak reunited to appear in the COLUMBO episode "Ashes to Ashes" in which McGoohan played prominent undertaker Eric Prince, who murdered a gossip columnist, and Masak played taxi driver Eddie Fenelle.

MCU---Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige commented on rumors that Robert Downey, Jr. returning as Iron Man and the possibility of other MCU characters returning after being killed off, "That’s the key, right? How do you do it in a way that maintains what has come before, and in a great way? And we’ve been spending, you know, the last two-plus years figuring that out for Wolverine. So, what’s to come? We’ll see. We’re just proud that we, I think, have figured it out for Wolverine. I think Hugh’s appearance and starring role in [DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE] is a great sign that it can be done — if great care is taken."
Feige also commented on a MCU/DCU crossover project, “I think about it occasionally, like any fan would think about it. I don’t know when in the heck that would ever happen, or how that would happen. But we’ve been talking too long for me to go, “Never! We’d never be able to do that.” We’ll never say never, but no, no plans. I’ve seen the paparazzi shots of the Superman set looking cool. So he’s focusing on that. We’re focusing on this.“

THE PENGUIN---executive producer Dylan Clark said another Batman spinoff series is underway, “There’s another television exploration we’re going to do. On the eve of the Super Bowl, the Super Bowl is where we first launched the trailer for DEADPOOL & — not FRIEND, but WOLVERINE — it leaked because of the son of the b*****s on the internet. DEADPOOL-WOLVERINE-FOTOR.jpg

BATTLESTAR GALACTICA---Ron D. Moore said he regrets how he ended the series, but he does not want a reunion, "I don't know. I said goodbye. To me, I wanted [BATTLESTAR GALACTICA] to have a definitive ending. I felt strongly at the time that I didn't want to then try to put the gang back together later on, so I destroyed the Galactica, sent this fleet into the sun, landed them on Earth, and said, 'This is the end."'
He added, "There's a part of me that wishes I hadn't done that because how much fun would it be to work with Eddie again? How much fun would it be with Mary and James, Katie and Tricia, and all of them? Now I'm going to forget their names, but I love all of them. There's a part of me that would have very much enjoyed doing that, but I feel like we said everything we wanted to say and we've gone off stage at the right point. I'm happy to leave that desire as our legacy."

BATTLESTAR-GALACTICA-FOTOR.jpg

I AM LEGEND 2---writer Akiva Goldsman commented on the sequel to the 2007 movie, "Here’s what’s going on with I AM LEGEND 2: I wrote a draft. The idea is both Michael B. Jordan and Will Smith. I wrote another draft based on that week, and I imagine there will be some very good news shortly."
He added, "Yeah, and I will tell you something about LEGEND —it's counterintuitive, what happens to New York after 30 years, because you imagine a post-apocalyptic scenario, but if you actually do research about what happens to cities, it's pretty much the opposite. The world returns, and it returns in a way that is kind of spectacular. So, that's a really exciting playground for all of us because it's not your father’s I AM LEGEND."

In one scene, Mia Farrow tells Vetri's character, Teresa, "I thought you were Victoria Vetri, the actress", and Teresa replies, "That's OK. Everybody thinks I'm Victoria. I don't see the resemblance, though."
Vetri was visiting the home of Polanski and pregnant Sharon Tate when Charles Manson also visited the home with audio tapes in hopes of launching a recording career. Vetri said about Manson, "He looks like a weirdo!'" Vetri was supposed to visit Tate the night of the Manson Murders in which Tate and four others were murdered. Vetri thought Manson heard her "weirdo" comment and blamed herself for the murders believing Manson killed Tate in retaliation for the comment. Vetri became extremely paranoid that Manson would also have her murdered from prison.
In 2010, Vetri shot husband and rocker Bruce Rathgeb, after accusing him of cheating on her and being involved with drugs. Rathgeb denied the accusation and claimed Vetri's paranoia about the Manson Murders led her to shoot him because she thought he was Manson. Vetri was charged with attempted murder and pleaded no contest to attempted voluntary manslaughter. She was sentenced to prison for nine years and was granted parole in 2018 when she was 73 years old.

THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS---director Matt Shakman commented on the reboot movie, “One of the things we decided early on was not to do an origin story. One of the ways we’re making it our own thing is we’re not telling the story of them going up and being changed, and starting our story [there].There’s a lot of well-known narrative that leads into that moment, right? And then you’re making up your new story starting basically at the end of the first act, and we thought, ‘Well, let’s just start this thing off on a completely new foot. So we are beginning after that’.”

It was a little lady that played that part, Luce Potter, and yeah, she was a classmate with my mother, so it was kind of funny when they met on the stage there on the day, "Hey, how have you been, I haven't seen you in all these years!"

He added, “The movie we made, we thought was PG-13, and then it was R because of demons. So, everybody sort of felt like, “Gee, if it was going to be R, we might have dug a little more deeply into some of the stuff we were working with.”

ST. ELMO'S FIRE---Rob Lowe commented on the status of the Sony Pictures sequel to his 1985 movie that also starred Judd Nelson, Ally Sheedy, Demi Moore, Emilio Estevez, Andrew McCarthy and Mare Winningham, “This is a real thing. It opens up all these questions about Mr. Miyagi and what his life was like, and that’s been something we’ve been wanting to do for a while.
We’ve talked to Robert Mark Kamen, the writer of the original Karate Kid who based this whole movie off his sensei who studied Okinawan karate; we’ve been talking about all this Miyagi backstory with him, which helped us with season six stuff. Now that we’re done, we can actually start getting into this stuff.
He added, “I would say that we definitely want to do that and have been talking about that… it is definitely something that we’ve been wanting to do. It’s just that we want to wait until we get finished with COBRA KAI first before we get into that.”

CAPTAIN AMERICA: BRAVE NEW WORLD---Harrison Ford commented on why he decided to join the MCU as General Thunderbolt Ross, “What did it take? It took not caring. It took being an idiot for money, which I’ve done before. I don’t mean to disparage it. I’m just saying you have to do certain things that normally your mother would not want you to do – or your acting coach, if you had one. But it’s fun, and I enjoyed it. I had a great time, and I’m delighted at the response that we got with the trailer.”

THE MARVELS---Brie Larson commented on if she might reunite with co-stars Teynoah Parris and Iman Vellani after THE MARVELS was a box office disappointment, “I just loved being with those ladies so much. And I think that the sentiment of it is so right to me and is much more where I’m at in my life, which is, there’s no one superhero that can save us. It takes all kinds of people that have their own special skill sets and the ability to understand that the brink of disaster cannot be stopped by one. It’s all of us coming together. So that feels really right to me. And you know, as for the future, there’s things that I know, but I can’t tell you.”
She also commented on if she will return as Captain America for the two new AVENGERS sequels, “I can’t say anything and I can’t even say that I don’t know anything because that might mean that there’s something to say or not say. So I’ll just say that I can’t say."

NATIONAL TREASURE 3---writer Dan Elliot said he has finished the sequel script, “Riley has changed more [than anyone]. If you just look at the two points that are established for him in the first and second movies. In the first one, he is the uninformed audience. That’s the role he plays. He’s the guy who says, ‘What are you talking about there?’ In the second one, he’s written a book about cryptohistory. And he’s right! He knows something Ben didn’t know about history. I just have to think that that’s continued. It becomes more difficult to do the history exposition because there are things [Riley] can know now. In terms of writing the third movie, there is, I think, a change to Ben and Riley’s inner relationship that I think both actors will really enjoy.”
He added, “Agent Sudusky is dead. I’m treating the TV series [NATIONAL TREASURE: EDGE OF HISTORY] as canon. I’m trying to do something different with the FBI than was done in the previous two movies. There’s still the pursuers, there’s still the force for law and order, but just the way they operate I’m trying to do something just a little bit different.”

NATIONAL-TREASURE-FOTOR-2.jpg

DRAGO---Florian Munteanu (CREED II) commented on the spinoff movie starring Dolph Lundgren, "I'm the most excited about it. We have worked for a couple of years now on this project. I can confidently say that we're in a very good place right now. I think me and Dolph are very happy with where we are at right now. It's just a lot of people have to make decisions here, and we have to find a compromise.
The tone of that movie has to be slightly darker than what we have seen in Creed just because those characters come from a different world, different environment, different upbringing. So we want to stay true to what the characters are, keep the essence of what the characters are. But we are in a very good place. Hopefully next year, we're going to hear more about what's going to happen."

ROAD HOUSE 2---director Doug Liman commented on the Amazon Prime remake sequel, "I've never done a sequel but am super proud of the character that Jake [Gyllenhaal] and I created. That's not the kind of character Jake normally plays. And I love in general in my movies, showcasing actors in a way you've never seen them before. So Matt Damon in a comedy, or Casey Affleck as a leading man in a big commercial movie. And in ROAD HOUSE, seeing Jake as a winning lead in a big, commercial movie, it was such a fun thing. And Jake's a really close friend. So, it's hard for me to imagine anyone else doing that [sequel] with him. So, I don't know."

THE ORVILLE---Scott Grimes said Season 4 will start filming shortly after New Years in 2025.

EVIL DEAD---Bruce Campbell said he is returning as Ash for the animated series based on the horror movie, “We are developing an animated version, like a series. I’ll do that. I’ll do Ash’s voice all day long because my voice hasn’t aged as much as I have.”

TRIVIA---THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW episode "The Farmer Takes a Wife" was the beginning of two famous lines in television history. The episode is the first time Deputy Barney Fife says, 'Nip it in the bud!" which was used in future episodes. Also in the episode, Alan Hale, Jr. played farmer Big Jeff Pruitt, who refers to Fife as "Little Buddy". Hale used the line in real life, so when he got the role of The Skipper on "GILLIGAN'S ISLAND, he suggested it to producer Sherwood Schwartz, who incorporated it into the series. "Nip it in the bud!" is now associated with Barney Fife and "Little Buddy" is now a fan nickname for Gilligan and Bob Denver.

HOUSE OF THE DRAGON---co-creator Ryan Condal said HOUSE OF THE DRAGON will end with Season 4.
He also commented on fan criticism of the Season 2 finale, “We were trying to give the Gullet, which is arguably the most anticipated — well, I would say maybe the second most anticipated action event of ‘Fire & Blood,’ — trying to give it the time and the space that it deserved.
I know everybody wants this to come out every summer. It’s just that the show is so complex that we’re really making multiple feature films every season. So I apologize for the wait, but I will just say if Rooks Rest and the Red Sowing were good then the team that we have together…we’re gonna pull off a hell of a win The Battle of the Gullet.”
Condal said Season 3 will feature the Battle of the Gullet, the biggest battle of the series, “Obviously, to anybody that’s seen the finale, we are building to that. That event will happen very shortly in terms of the storytelling of this, of HOUSE OF THE DRAGON. Based on what we know now, I mean, it should be the biggest thing to date that we’ve pulled off, and we just wanted to have the time and the space to do that at a level that is going to excite and satisfy the fans in the way that is deserved.”
He added, ” I will just say if Rook’s Rest and the Red Sowing are any indication, [with] the team that we have together, we’re going to pull off a hell of a win with the Battle of the Gullet in the future.”
George RR Martin said there seven spinoff series being developed: four animated and three live-action.

MCU---Film Threat founder Chris Gore claims Marvel Studios has cleaned house after the failure of THE MARVELS and other bombs, "I do know people who work at Marvel. They have cleaned house, They quietly, months ago, fired all the producers that could be labeled activist...Kevin Feige recognizes… basically, he said that ‘we tried it, it didn’t work. ...He’s talking about Phase 4. It didn’t work. No Kang. None of these side characters that don’t have the legacy of classic characters. And if DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE proves anything, you’ve heard that phrase ‘male and pale is stale’ — that was spoken aloud across studios, but if you look at box office this year, I would say male and pale is money. And that’s the phrase that I think people should more adopt."
However, Gore said Lucasfilm is still committed to woke movies, "Unlike Lucasfilm. Lucasfilm is lost. They’re lost. They are doubling down on all the nonsense. You will never get anything good out of Lucasfilm and STAR WARS. That’s it”

BALLS UP---Daniela Melchior will co-star with Mark Wahlberg and Paul Walter Hauser in the Peter Farrelly comedy movie whose plot is described as "two American executives who get the boot for sabotaging a client sponsorship and decide to use their free tickets to a professional soccer match. After a few drinks too many, the duo finds themselves on the run while being hunted by every person across the country."

CONFESS, FLETCH---director Greg Mottola posted that Miramx cancelled the sequel starring Jon Hamm, "Alas, the new head of Miramax, who controls the rights to all the books, shot down my sequel project. The Fletch curse got me."

TRIVIA---the classic tv comedy I LOVE LUCY co-starred William Frawley as Fred Mertz and Vivian Vance as his wife, Ethel Mertz. In reality, the two actors despised one another. When the series ended in 1959, Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz offered Frawley and Vance the chance to star in their own spinoff series, FRED AND ETHEL. Frawley was agreeable, but Vance refused because she could not stand having to work with Frawley any longer. Frawley, who had a well-deserved reputation in Hollywood for being unpleasant, once said of Vance, "She's one of the finest girls to come out of Kansas. But I often wish she'd go back there." In 1966, Vance was having dinner with her husband in a restaurant when she heard that Frawley had suffered a fatal heart attack and reportedly exclaimed, "Champagne for everybody!"

No, no one got paid anything to do that movie...I basically got free sandwiches, and I got to keep my [elf] ears." She later said, “Women don’t get paid much as you think they do.”
When asked her if she “got a piece of the backend", Blanchett said, “No! That was way before any of that. No, nothing.”
Blanchett said money was not her motivation to work with Peter Jackson, “I wanted to work with the guy who made BRAINDEAD [DEAD ALIVE in the US]."

You need someone who can really nail the guy.’ I was picked because I have gray hair and glasses.”
He added, “It’s ongoing. It’s not like you do it once and get applause and never do it again. Again, they need a real impressionist to do that. They’re gonna find somebody really, really good. I’d be struggling.”

THE HUMAN VAPOR---Netflix/Toho live-action tv series underway based on the 1960 Toho movie about an experiment gone awry in which a librarian is transformed into a vapor and resorts to murder and robbery to finance the dancing career of his girlfriend. Yeon Sang-ho (TRAIN TO BUSAN) is the director. The original movie was directed by Ishiro Honda (GODZILLA).

ARMY OF THE DEAD---Netflix cancelled the Zack Snyder zombie franchise including a planned animated tv series.

DEVIL IN THE WHITE CITY---co-producer Stacey Sher commented on the status of the miniseries based on the book about serial killer HH Holmes and the 1893 Chicago Worlds Fair architect Daniel Burnham, “I mean, I hope so. It’s not imminent, but it is not ever far from my mind.” Sher said Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio are still co-producers. The miniseries originally would have starred Keanu Reeves, who left, and was then cancelled by Hulu.

SCRUBS---creator Bill Lawrence commented on the status of the comedy medical series reboot, "We're definitely going to do it, just because we've all been enjoying hanging out.
Look, there's no huge drive because everybody's successful, and I think the show was on for like, 72 years, but on the other hand, medical people over here right now are very heroic to me. It's been a tough road, and no one's becoming a doctor right now to get rich here in America, and we've all been hanging out and talking.
So I'm open to it. I'm open to it, and I don't want to do it as a movie, but I'm definitely open to doing a couple more years of that show. It would not only be fun to see where the characters I used to love are now, but also to see what a young doctor nowadays looks like, as far as the kids coming in behind them, you know.
So we've been talking a lot about it, and I think we'll figure it out in the next six months or so what we want to do. I'm just busy too, man, in a great way."

BLUE BLOODS---Donnie Wahlberg said the series may continue in the future, “Well, we filmed the apparent last season of Blue Bloods, and it’ll air starting in October. Maybe there’ll be something else after that. I don’t know anything officially yet, but there’s things in the works. So maybe something awesome will happen.”

And on the final question, worth $100,000, the contestant selects one celebrity to discuss the answer with before locking in. The final question is always at the 6th-grade level.”

TRIVIA---in THE FUGITIVE tv series, Dr. Richard Kimble (David Janssen) was convicted of murdering his wife, but he claimed the real killer was a one-armed man. GAME OF THRONES---Kit Harington commented on fan criticism of the last season, “I think if there was any fault with the end of THRONES , is that we were all so f--cking tired, we couldn't have gone on longer. And so I understand some people thought it was rushed and I might agree with them. But I’m not sure there was any alternative. I look at pictures of me in that final season and I look exhausted. I look spent. I didn't have another season in me.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I think there were mistakes made, story-wise, towards the end maybe. I think there were some interesting choices that didn’t quite work.”

However, Roubicek is most famous for playing Imperial Military Commander Praji in STAR WARS. He said about STAR WARS, "I don't think anyone knew [what STAR WARS was], except maybe George Lucas, and I'm not sure he knew all the time! We certainly didn't know. I wouldn't say this was just another job – there's no such thing as just another job – but I didn't realize how special it was going to be at the time."

TERMINATOR---James Cameron was asked about the TERMINATOR ZERO animated tv series and he replied that he is not involved with ZERO, but he is working on a new TERMINATOR project, “It looks interesting. My relationship to that is very much like THE SARAH CONNER CHRONICLES-–other people spinning stories in a world I set in motion is interesting to me. What’s their takeaway? What intrigued them about it? Where are they going with it? It looks like they’re going back to the root cause of JUDGMENT DAY- – he nuclear war- – and whether that’s an ultimate timeline.
I’d be curious to see what they’ve come up with. I’m working on my own TERMINATOR stuff right now. It’s got nothing to do with that. Like with THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES, they occasionally touched on things I had been playing with completely independently. So there’s some curiosity there. It’s not a burning curiosity, but, obviously, it’d be nice to see it succeed.”
He added, “It’s totally classified. I don’t want to have to send out a potentially dangerous robotic agent if you were to talk about it, even retroactively.”

CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON---a source claims Universal Pictures wants Scarlett Johansson to star in its remake of the 1954 monster movie.

DEADPOOL---Halle Berry commented on if she was asked to return as Storm for DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE, "No. Blake [Lively] asked me one time, I ran into her at a Marc Jacobs fashion show, and she said, 'Would you ever be in my husband's movie as Storm?' I said, 'Yeah, if he asked me,' but he never asked me."

SHOOTER----Mark Wahlberg commented on a possible sequel to the 2007 movie based on the novel POINT OF IMPACT, “Well, I think my good friends over at Skydance just took over Paramount, so I think that’s a possibility. We got a pretty good library over there with, not only SHOOTER, with THE ITALIAN JOB, even FOUR BROTHERS, THE FIGHTER. And then other things that they have in the library that could be interesting to revisit, or revamp, but that one in particular.”
He added, “Anywhere I go for the last 20 years, people are always coming up to me about that movie. They don’t always turn out the way you want. But that particular movie? If myself, Antoine Fuqua (Director), and if they get Michael Peña back, that would be very cool.”

GHOSTBUSTERS---Netflix 3D animated tv series underway, but no plot details were released.

TONY---Dominic Sessa (THE HOLDOVERS) will star in the chef Anthony Bourdain biomovie.

TRIVIA---Guinness World Records claims Bram Stoker's Count Dracula has appeared in more movies than any other literary character, "As of August, 2015, Bram Stoker's Count Dracula has been portrayed in a total of 538 films (both cinema releases and TV films)--more than any other literary character. This puts him a long way ahead of his closest literary character rival, Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes, with 299 appearances as of the same date."

FANTASTIC VOYAGE---Roland Emmerich commented on why he left the 2007 remake of the 1966 sci fi movie that starred Stephen Boyd and Raquel Welch, “James Cameron is very overbearing, and so I, at one point, just gave up. Because it’s like, ‘Is it your movie or my movie?’
Cameron replied, “I’ve never said anything negative about Roland. But anyway: Yes, I’m overbearing. **** right. When it’s a project where I’ve contributed to the writing, I might actually have an opinion on it. I actually don’t even remember talking to Roland Emmerich about Fantastic. I remember the other directors that we worked with for months on end trying to develop that project. If I talked to Roland, it was for two minutes. I have a pretty good memory and I don’t remember that at all.”

FANTASTIC-VOYAGE-2-FOTOR.jpg

AVATAR: FIRE AND ASH---James Cameron said Michelle Yeoh is not in FIRE AND ASH, “Michelle Yeoh won’t be in 3. She’s in 4 and 5. So that got a little bit misreported. She will be coming in soon to do her part, which is an interesting, fun character. I mean, we’re getting ahead of ourselves now. This whole thing has been planned for years and years. The scripts were all written years ago, through the end of movie 5. So we’ve been working on parts of 4 even as we go along, mostly because we’ve got this young cast. We had to shoot them all while they were still young.”

BOY GEORGE---TriStar Boy George biomovie underway with JC Lee as the writer.

TRIVIA---Tom Hardy might be best known for starring in the VENOM Marvel comic monster movies, but his first leading role was in the 2006 SyFy Channel monster movie MINOTAUR based on the Greek mythology fable of a man battling a half man and half bull monster. Tova becomes acquainted with curmudgeonly Marcellus, a giant Pacific octopus living at the aquarium. Marcellus knows more than anyone can imagine but wouldn’t dream of lifting one of his eight arms for his human captors—until he forms a remarkable friendship with Tova. Ever the detective, Marcellus deduces what happened the night Tova’s son disappeared. And now Marcellus must use every trick his old invertebrate body can muster to unearth the truth for her before it’s too late.”

MODERN FAMILY---Sofia Vegara said she hopes the tv series will have a sequel, possibly as a tv movie, “I’d die to be on that set. It’d be so much fun. A TV movie, maybe?”
She said she keeps in touch with Ed O'Neill, “I always joke with him [saying], ‘Ed, don’t die because if we do the sequel, it will take some time, and you’re the oldest of us. You can’t be dead.'"

TRIVIA---the World War II action movie WHERE EAGLES DARE starred Richard Burton and Clint Eastwood and was a big hit as the No. 7 movie in England and No. 13 in the US in 1969. Steven Spielberg gave the movie its ultimate compliment by saying WHERE EAGLES DARE is his favorite war movie.
The movie's origin began after Burton married Elizabeth Taylor, "I decided to do the picture because Elizabeth's two sons said they were fed up with me making films they weren't allowed to see, or in which I get killed. They wanted me to kill a few people instead." Burton consulted producer Elliott Kastner "and asked him if he had some super-hero stuff for me where I don't get killed at the end." Kastner contacted novelist Alister MacLean (THE GUNS OF NAVARONE), who wrote the screenplay (and novel) in six weeks with the title CASTLE OF EAGLES. Kastner did not like the "Awful f*****g title," and changed it to WHERE EAGLES DARE, a line from William Shakespeare's RICHARD III.
Ironically, Burton and MacLean are both buried in the tiny cemetery, Vieux Cimitiere, in Celigny, Switzerland.

ANDOR---Diego Luna commented on Season 2, the last season with Ben Mendelsohn and Alan Tudyk returning, “I think people watching ROGUE ONE, after watching Season 2, are going to see a different film. Everything will be signified differently knowing what had to happen for K-2 to be there. It’s going to make you witness the journey of ROGUE ONE in a different way, I think.
And not just with K-2, but with many other characters. I think it’ll be really cool. You’re going to see why K-2 is so important in ROGUE ONE, and how does he get to be such an important character for the Rebellion.”

PLASTIC MAN---Darren Aronofsky (THE WHALE) will reportedly direct the movie based on the comic book for DC Studios.

X-MEN '97---creator Beau DeMayo claimed he was fired by Marvel Studios after he posted fan art of himself during Gay Pride Month. THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS---director Matt Shakman commented on the reboot movie, "I’m not so much looking at the other movies. I’m looking at the comics themselves. I’m a huge comic book fan. I’ve been a big fan of the Fantastic Four since I was a kid.
So going back to Kirby and Lee and Byrne and following all the way up to what’s happening, certainly Hickman and Waid and Ryan North, what he’s been doing. I’m trying to figure out who these characters are to me and how to bring them to life in the best possible way, and that’s really where I’ve started and how we’ve approached it.”

SUPERNATURAL---Harrison Ford is reportedly a candidate to co-star in the untitled JJ Abrams movie starring Glen Powell and Jenna Ortega whose plot is rumored to be about a “young married couple struggling to survive against a supernatural entity”.

BATGIRL---Michael Keaton commented on the superhero movie that was shelved by Warner Bros., “No, I didn't care one way or another. Big, fun, nice check. I like those boys. They're nice guys (BATGIRL directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah). I pull for them. I want them to succeed, and I think they felt very badly, and that made me feel bad. Me? I'm good.”

CATWOMAN---Halle Berry commented on her box office bomb on its 20th anniversary, “I loved it. It got panned. The critics said it sucked b****. And b**** aren’t that bad. What I’m happy about is that the children have found it now on the internet, and they love it. So, it’s so vindicating. Because now they’re saying it’s cool and what the heck was everybody’s problem with it.”

SUPERHEROES---actor Brian Cox said cinema is in bad shape and superhero movies are partly to blame, “What’s happened is that television is doing what cinema used to do. I think cinema is in a very bad way. I think it’s lost its place because of, partly, the grandiose element between Marvel, DC and all of that. And I think it’s beginning to implode, actually. You’re kind of losing the plot.”
He added, “I mean, I’ve done those kind of [projects]. Deadpool meets the guy… Wolverine, who I created, but I’ve forgotten. Actually, when those films are on, there’s always a bit of me [as Stryker] and they never pay me any money…
So it’s just become a party time for certain actors to do this stuff. When you know that Hugh Jackman can do a bit more, Ryan Reynolds… but it’s because they go down that road and it’s box office. They make a lot of money. You can’t knock it.”

BARBIE---Mattel and Illumination are in talks of developing a Barbie animated movie franchise.

DARK MATTER---Apple TV+ renewed the series for Season 2.
