Wow Chris, what an epic layout and scene, nice little story as well.

It's great see your setup of the Battery being deployed.

There is an awful lot of 'man handling' of the gun to get it onto it's mark, and as these guns do have a recoil system, after every shot the gun must be 'run back' before loading and firing the next round.

Good to see that Britains make the gunners in these particular poses, and not always the somewhat static poses of the gunners watching the fall of shot.

Well done,

John

Great pictures Chris :salute::

All the best

Thanks Steve. Ken Olsen made the board. I have a total of four, 3 ACW and 1 AZW, that he made for me. Chris

Thanks, the limber is WB, their latest release and the horses are JJD from their WWI service wagon. Not 100% accurate, but as close as I can get. :smile2: Chris

Great use of 3 different sets (Britians, JJD) on that horse team; Creative.

The Running Up the Gun set was my first Britain’s gun crew. It was very much a gateway purchase! {sm4}

One of my favorites as well. In fact, Ken did a special set for me with four different figs including a gun corporal shown in the pic. He also did the 1st sgt with stripes and add'l weathering. Chris

Looks great, Chris. Simply amazing!
