That's SHOCKING....!!!!
Its even more shocking cos I know that you're not joking. And believe me, I'm not easily shocked.
What have things come to when kids can't even play?????
The worlds gone mad. :( Compensation culture, nonentities celebrated in the press as if they'd actually done something interesting, and all the rest of it.
I'm really, really, really glad that I've discovered, and been involved in, this wonderful toy soldier collecting hobby over the past three years - and this forum. Means you can ignore all that other nonsense, for a wee while anyway. :)

Spot on H.

The other day that inspirational woman Jane Tomlinson died, she fought cancer for seven years during which she raised one million pounds for cancer research. This included a bike ride across America in the later stages of her illness. But who do we find in the papers the next day Harry?.The Girl from Big Brother whose ambition in life is to look like Posh Spice.Give me strength.

You are right,Toy soldier collecting and Treefrog is a happy escape from such nonsense.Long may it continue,we must hand the torch on to youngsters like Scot and Tex.

Its like I said in my PM yesterday Rob.
I'm just glad to be part of this TF community. Sure there are times when we disagree with each other - big time on occasion, but so what? It inevitably blows over. At least here we're allowed to state our opinions (in a reasonable manner) without fear of "The Thought Police" banging on the door at 04:00 in the morning....:D:D
You know just to get off track for a moment, I was a paid up member of the Scottish Nationalist Party all my life. What happened when we eventually gained devolution at the end of the 1990's??.......As soon as that zoo in Edinburgh convened, the very first debate and vote was to award themselves a 100% pay rise..... And this at a time when pensioners couldn't afford to keep warm in winter??
No, I have no wish to be involved with "The Socialist Republic Of Scotland". I'm no longer a Scot Nat member.
Sorry to go into a rant, but my PM yesterday quite clearly indicated where I stand on present day UK society.

Yes i understand what your saying Harry. The majority of arguments on this forum blow over pretty quick, its still easily the best place to talk about the Hobby. As for the SNP,well i'm a proud Brit and i would hate to see the union broken. So i'm firmly in the other camp.:)

Re: Henschel Turret King Tiger

I heard a fascinating fact once that there are more Scottish people living outsidd Scotland than actually live in Scotland. Not sure how true it is but it's interesting if correct.

Re: Henschel Turret King Tiger

Population of Scotland is 5.5 Million. Could be wrong, but I don't think there's more than 5.5 Million ex-pats scattered around the world. I read somewhere that there's 20 Million throughout the world who can claim Scots decent from their grand parents which is probably where your info comes from. :)
