My 2013 OTSN Photos (1 Viewer)

Pat,

Thank you so much for your show coverage and including some of the great, not often covered, 54MM glossy manufactures. Did you happen to see any Kingcast or Bastion Models sets at the show? Was Ed of Edmund's at the show?

Hi Pat,

A great photo record of the show. Looks there was lots do, see and buy! I do hope to make it there one year and meet you all.

Hi Mike,

You are welcome for the coverage. I enjoy the gloss, so I tend to target those figures while assuming other forum members will be covering many of the excellent matte finished figures.

No, I did not notice much Kingcast or Bastion Models figures, but I was not looking for them. And, yes, Ed of Edmunds was there. Somehow, I never made it to his room, but I saw him at the show.

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

Hi Scott,

Yes, there was lots to do, see, and, buy. While I definitely enjoy viewing figures, searching for treasure and making purchases, the grandest part of the show is seeing and visiting with friends.

I do hope you can attend the show one year soon. I know you would greatly enjoy it and it would be fun to meet everyone and join the fun.

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

I was told that he was at the show ,but except for his relatively new Texas Ranger sets and a Custer's Reno Hill set, most everything else was usual release sets...He is making some special Custer sets for me. I will post when they are done..Michael

Mike,

Edmund was there. In fact, someone told me that he nearly sold out everything in his room.

Pat,

As usual, thank you very much for your photos and commentary. I think you did a fine job and for those who weren't there you brought a small part of the Show back to them.

I thought those Western dioramas were very cool. Glad you took some photos of them. Also glad you took some photos of the people at the Show.

Photo 13otsn87 - John Rio (Leadmen) demonstrating the muscles he has developed by applying his chainsaw to the construction of dioramas.

I actually think John is telling us how Michigan State is going to beat up on Notre Dame one of these days ^&grin

One of the great highlights of the Show is seeing people you don't get a chance to normally see like John.

Brad,

Thanks. That is good news. I hope to see Ed again next month at Bob Walker's Open House.

I gave up the season already. Michigan State don't look good right now but maybe they will improve. I will be better next year seeing I had cataract surgery and will see the displays better. NO chainsaw dioramas, wife put a stop to that after I cut up the ping-pong table. J

Hi John,

^&grin^&grin^&grin I will certainly miss your chainsaw manufactured diorama, but I think Mary may have had a valid point!

I am glad to see you are getting the cataract surgery behind you. You will be pleased with how much your vision will improve.

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)
