Guys,here is the first part of my D Day beach dio that I just completed.The second part will consist of the German defences,I hope to start work on that after Christmas.In the meantime I hope you like this first section.

Thanks mate,very kind.Thats tile grout and many washes of colour until I was happy with it!.Trouble is with both grout and paint is as you know it really has to dry,so the process is very long,but hopefully worth it.

Excellent effects in the dio. The water looks especially eefective with the foam and bits of debris in it. The sand is well done with a strip of wet sand then dry. Is that actual sand?

How did you do the barbed wire?

Looking forward to the German fortifications - no doubt 2 atlantic wall bunkers
