I am sad to announce that my Father passed away yesterday afternoon after a very short battle with cancer. He died comfortably after lapsing into a comma.

He influenced my life in so many profound ways, including my love of history, which led me to collecting toy soldiers.

I will miss him while I live a life filled with the lessons he taught me.

I'm sorry to hear that Jason. At least his suffering wasn't long. I'm sure you will have good memories of your time together.

Very sorry to hear of your father passing Jason,...... as many of us here have been through losing a parent it's true that time heals all wounds, but that doesn't help the hurt you feel now, hang in there good brother and may your father rest in Peace.

Jason,
deepest condolences for your loss, losing a parent just flat out is painful, but remember all of the good times during this moment, they are never forgotten.

Jason,

I am sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how hard a time like this must be for you.

I will be praying for you and your family.

God bless.

Mark

Please accept my sincere condolences, Jason. I feel your pain, having just lost my mother.

Tom, Brit Farmer, Mark and Louis:

Thanks for the support.

As a kid, rather than read me nursery rhymes etc. at bed time, he would read me "A Bridge Too Far". In his honor I am going to re-read that book.

Best with thanks again,
Jason
