my favourite K&C pieces (2 Viewers)

This is my favourite, just something about it.

I have many K&C favourites......

The winter Tiger is a great set, beautifully presented, but IMO the figure painting and, in particular, the faces were not the best.

The early Russians are full of character and the original T34/76 is my all time favourite vehicle.

The first series of Bulge American sets were great. Superb action poses and I love the great coats and light snow coating.

The best painting I've seen on any K&C figures is a tie between the early French Napoleonics and the WW1 Germans and KOSB's in battle poses. I think the Crimean figures are close behind too.

The DD31 set is beautifully sculpted and painted - there must be a pound of lead in that set!

Have I ever been disappointed with any K&C sets? A few. I was excited to get the first 10 or so Crusaders, but the painting IMO was very poor. The catapult and siege tower were good but I left that series there.....

In the future, I want to concentrate on building my Bulge, WW1 and Crimean ranges.

Nobody is wrong and nobody is right. We all have our opinions and tastes!

even after all the advances, still my favorite.

That's a pretty rare set. I have only seen it in photos and don't think it shows up on e-bay very often. I remember it there only once or twice?

You are correct only thought to be 100 of the winter version out there. The

summer version has brought over $1000 the winter version WS20W like the

one in the photo has brought over $2000 on Ebay in the past! Original price

was $225! Wouldn't it be nice to find one for that today!:D

BBG002 is one of the first sets I got and is still one of my favorites.

My favourite piece I never had, or likely to get:D

My favouites for a long time were WS08 I think, the panzer grenadiers for climbing on vehicles with no bases, loved the studs in the hobnail boots!

My other favourite was the Tommy Patrol but just spoiled for choice now......

My Favourite was the early Stalingrad figures, really good the 88 set I got when I first sstarted collecting which was Mike's last one so glad I got it.

Mangaed to get the old winther Panther and Kublewagen!! awesome

But like a few collecters have said as they get better the old ones fade into the mists of time or maybe they get a re-run and come out on display.... from there hiding place to replace the new figures .....

Andy definately needs to get more winter stuff out and consider the Stalingrad time with some good Russians that could be his next winner in the field of Toy Soldiers

Best Wishes all

Robert,

I agree on the winter, am saving up for the new Bulge stuff, it looks great. I do still like the old stuff as well though.

I would also love to see a Stalingrad line, although it is highly doubtful at this stage that we will be seeing one any time soon. I love the Fall of Berlin series, I wish I had been collecting before the Germans were retired and am seriously thinking about getting the retired T-34.
