MY PURCHASES at OTSN 2009 (1 Viewer)

I obtained the following:

1. Heco Tinplate Floatplane.
2. K&C Small Square Desert Diorama Base (you can never have too many desert diorama bases).
3. Several Figarti vehicles and guns released at the show (Texas Priest, Bulldozer Sherman, M3 Halftrack, Bofers AAA Gun & Crew).
4. Figarti LCT.
5. K&C & Figarti Show Figures (Polish Infantry & Rommel).
6. Figarti JS-2 Prototype & M1A1 Abrams Prototype.
7. Black Watch Captain's Mess Jacket, 10th Gurkha Rifles Belt and Kukri (Gurkha Knife) - you have to have some real military memorabelia if you want to call your display a museum.

I had such a great time, and really the best part was getting to either meet or visit with all of my friends from this forum who were able to attend, including Beuafighter (Marc), Phantom Warrior (Terry), Lewey Gun Vick, Kilted Vampire (Michael), Warbuff26 (Bryan), Jazzeum (Brad), Leadman (John), Wadepat (Pat), Southbaytoys (Andrew), Viriato (Rod), Lurcchio (Clive), TDubel (Tom), Warrior (George), Rick Wang, Steven Chong, Andy, Gordon, Laura and her son Jamie, Helen & Patrick from K&C, Hans Hedrich, Larry Lo, Ken & Ericka Osen, Richard Walker from Britains, Matt from the Hobby Bunker, Pete, Shannon & Mandi from Treefrog, and I appologize to anyone I chatted with but did not mention here. You gentlemen (and ladies) are what make this hobby so wonderful for me.:)

I am of course remiss in failing to mention Carlos (Desk11Desk12) and his lovely wife Nancy. I also mixed up Rod's forum name, it is of course DeBrito. Sorry guys, my brain is a bit fried.

Rick posted photos of a M1A1 Abrams prototype on the Figarti subforum, which, sadly, had been destroyed. He offered to make me a prototype, and to give me the JS-2 prototype (which I coveted) if I would give Figarti its own room in the museum. As I had obtained one of the three LCT's from the show, I agreed.;)

I got William the Conqueror and a Norman Knight by Del Prado. A Norman Archer by Conte, and the Sheriff's Men and Robin Hood's Merry Men by Barzo. And then I ran out of money, otherwise this list would be much longer.

So did I, ouch, too many good people!

Those will make great displayy pieces.

Sounds like you had a really great show. Can't wait for the day I get to attend.

Walt you live in Philly - you are a hop a skip and a jump away. Just let me know when you can make it, and you can stop by anytime you like.:)

Rick,

If you're planning to make a prototype, it must be just as easy to do a couple......pleeeeeeease?
