Rob,

Just got mine as well, now just waiting for the Spit.

Might need to get the two WAAFs as well.

Andy

I bet the Spit won't be around long, they will be landing all over the place later in the week, I wonder if it is the fastest selling of the new warbirds so far?.

Definitely got to get the WAAFS, they could be talking to the female driver of the Ambulance.

Rob...

You may be right but did hear the FW was selling well also

Yes I can believe that, the FW is a superb model too. I really hope Andy may give us the Bolton Paul Defiant at some point, if its possible in Polystone, not sure.

Rob...
I can't recall now who said what may be on the horizon for aircraft but, it could be anything. It was kind of my wifes sister to buy me one knowing the connection with BOB and my grandfather. My only gripe, if it could even be seen as that is it was not a brit pilot but, its not the squadron but, the plane so, not really a moan.

One of the things I really like about this series Mitch is that we celebrate both the pilots and their aircraft. We've had the two victorious planes in the Hurricane and now the Spit, and also a stream of RAF Heroes. Already this range must have had more real life figures than most others, and the fact they keep coming in this 70th Anniversary of Victory year is most welcome:cool:

Tommorow is 70 years to the day since 'The hardest day' of the Battle, when the Luftwaffe hurled themselves at this island looking for a knockout blow. Kenley Airfield suffered a big raid with many killed and wounded and plenty of damage too, however within 24hrs it was up and running again and the Luftwaffe paid a high price in lost aircraft for this raid that they could ill afford.

Tommorow I will remember the hardest day and give thanks for every single one of our heroes and the first real defeat Hitler suffered and its effect on the whole of the Second World War.

No argument from me proud of them all as I said just would have liked a brit pilot for selfish reasons more than anything else

Very nice, Rob. You really should consider collecting the RAF range, I think you might like it!:p

That RAF ambulance looks real good. I've given in and purchased one and after these pics am even more eager than ever to receive it. This RAF series is awesome, its quickly becoming one of my favourites! I think I've caught the completist bug again!

Thanks Craig, yes having finished my other dio I'm now starting to think what to do next, I must say an airfield is right up there on my 'must do' list. I would love to do that this year, I'm at the very early planning stage right now;)
