Hip.hip,hooray to William and Kate.........all 300 hours of their day..HELP ME! Michael
{sm2}I watched it for the history, uniforms and medals being worn. One little tidbit. Did you notice that Harry and other Cavalry officers walked funny? Thats because they wear spurrs, and have to keep their heels out so they don't strike the boots, or trip them up. Cavalry are more impressive mounted and less walking. Loved it anyway. I'm an Aussie who loves Ceremony. Cheers, Johno.
Best Wishes to William and Kate on their wedding day.
Too Funny!
My daughter(11) has a friend who is staying home from school to watch the wedding live on TV. We of course made our daughter go to school.
Still it looks like it was a lovely ceremony. The Prince certainly has a lot of class and I really liked seeing him in the Irish Guards Uniform as a nod to the men currently serving in Afghanistan.

On the channel I was watching, the announcers made a horrible racist joke about the Irish. They were playing some march, and the guy says, "Wow, that's so beautiful it would turn anyone into an Anglo-file.....Oh wait, except the Irish!"
What an inappropriate comment to make, especially in consideration of the uniform....

I'd rather have needles stuck in my eyes then watch it {eek3}

Apparently the profits are much higher than the costs... A great $ day for London, besides all else. And indeed a beautiful ceremony (nobody does it quite like the British!), great views from London and a fine looking couple.
