My WW1 French Shelf Display (1 Viewer)

Hi Roy, await your new additions joining in!
Looks great! I saw the street scene at the London Show, but have missed these pics till now!
very impressive! Can't wait to see the muddy street! no slacking now, a holiday is no excuse! {sm4}

Spent some time today putting a sky blue background in behind this street scene. The background material was from a 30"x20"x.375" piece of foam board that I got at my local Hobby Lobby store. Also found out that the H&A sections of cobblestone road I ordered from Ericka Osen are finished and ready to ship . . . . these will add a nice touch to this shelf display.

Looking good mate.

Thank you Wayne

Yep the road mat will finish it off nicely. Robin.

I am looking forward to getting the Cobblestone Road sections (takes two sections) Robin. Like you said, it will be a nice finishing touch. Expect to get them sometime next week.

Here is another shelf section (British Aerodrome) I worked on this morining by adding a sky blue backdrop using the same type of foamboard. This stuff is incredibly easy to work with (cuts easily to size with a razor knife and square/flat edge), very sturdy/rigid, and readily available at hobby stores or office supply stores. I believe it would be easily painted on also if some other detailing would want to be added, clouds for example. Will post more shelf sections as I finish them but that will have to wait until I get some more sky blud foam board.
