That was one heck of an expensive punch.George...the link I posted above...it says this...maybe it's a misprint....but that is what the article says...
"Metcalf appealed the suspension, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. If the suspension stands, Metcalf will forfeit $555,556 for the two games. The suspension would also void $45 million in future guaranteed money, according to his contract, which was reviewed by CBS Sports and ESPN."
I've landed many more solid punches than that one and none of them cost me anywhere close to 45 million.George...the link I posted above...it says this...maybe it's a misprint....but that is what the article says...

Worst punch I have ever taken was from someone who weighed 95 pounds and was barely 5 feet tall.I've landed many more solid punches than that one and none of them cost me anywhere close to 45 million.
I did end up with a classic boxers break one time; it was worth it.
Guess you had it coming.Worst punch I have ever taken was from someone who weighed 95 pounds and was barely 5 feet tall.
It as an ex-girlfriend who caught me with another woman.
She was tiny but pure muscle. It was like getting hit by a fire hydrant.
The Jets organization should refund the money of any fan who bothered to attend that game. They phoned it in even though it had playoff implications. A sad and pathetic end to another sad and pathetic season. Maybe the worst sports franchise in history. Meanwhile the 3-12 Browns played their butts off. And with Carolina losing at home, the Pats now have only a single win against a team with a winning record this entire season. One
Make that 13-3 there Harry. The Pats are 12-3. Impressive right? Wrong. They have only two wins against teams with a winning record. Two. That's incredible. Ten wins against teams with that are .500 or have losing records. I wonder if any team in the NFL history has ever done that. And one of those two teams is 8-7. They also lost to the Bills. The only other team they have beat with a winning record. And they are playing the Jets today. "First Round" Mike or "Bubble" Vrabel as he should be known caught a huge break. The playoffs will be a real test. Like JMU coming into the college football playoffs with an impressive record. I like Denver, Texas, and Buffalo in the AFC. The NFC will be a war.
Not to worry George. "Bubble" Vrabel is a good coach. There will be some first round playoff games in your future given their division stinks. No Super Bowls though. Just ask the folks in TN. In the meantime, we can sing along:Make that 13-3 there Harry.
I've never seen anyone rant and rave about a team's schedule; you play who you play, they play the AFC East, the last place teams in the AFC West and South, the last place team in the NFC East, then it's their turn to play the AFC North and NFC South.
Are you discounting wins against teams that had a winning record when the Patriots played them as your arguement is complete effing nonsense.
They won IN Buffalo, IN Tampa, IN Baltimore, not exactly easy places to play regardless of the opponents record.
The Patriots are undefeated on the road this year; road NFL games are never easy last time I checked.
It's not the Patriots fault that the NFC South and AFC North both blow this year.
Go take a valium and go to your happy place, you'll live a lot longer.
Who said it was "by accident"? The Pats are 13-3 because they have a schedule that allowed them to win 12 games against teams that do not have a winning record. That has to be a NFL record. They have a single win against a team with a winning record. One. And that's to a team that they also lost against. The playoffs will be the real test. There are at least four teams that I would take over the Pats in the AFC at this point. Bills, Denver, Jax, and Houston. The Jets do stink and are pretty pathetic but they’re in tanking mode and are playing a bunch of people on defense who may not be in the league next year and a QB who definitely won’t be.
That being said you don’t get to 13-3 by accident and you can only play the teams on your schedule.
Better throw in some tequila with that valium.
You'd take the Bills with coach Hardo running the ship?Who said it was "by accident"? I can smile at the old days
I was beautiful then
I remember
The time I knew what happiness was

I just ordered one of these for you, AFC EAST DIVISION CHAMPION NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS.Not to worry George. "Bubble" Vrabel is a good coach. I fully expected the Bills do just that. I thought, here we are, another Eagles game that was really two different games, and they're gonna blow their lead and lose the game. I couldn't believe it when they went for 2. The odds were so much more in the Bills' favor, had they gone for overtime, you are absolutely right, George!...The Bills did dick all game long today until the last 6 minutes, scored two touchdowns, the Iggles had SEVENTEEN yards of offense in the second half, their defense was gassed, so what does Coach Hardo do, he goes for 2 instead of tying the game and going to OT, where a worn down Iggles defense and an offense that couldn't find it's butt with both hands would have folded and the Bills probably win...
