N.F.L. 24-25 Season (2 Viewers)

I have said that all season long but Roger's mojo is something else. They have a shot outside in the cold. Little shot but I think it may be interesting.
You have to be in it to win it. I think the Texans are a winnable matchup for the Steelers at home. The cold and crowd should be a big advantage. The playoffs are a whole different deal. Houston might tighten up if it stays close. A low scoring game in which Roger's might get his chance in the fourth quarter.

He doesn’t have much left.
You don't need much! Teams get hot, they win. Do I think it could happen, sure, not betting on it, but I give the old dude credit, the 4th qtr against the Ravens that I saw, he looked pretty good!

I like the Steelers but they are stuck in a bad cycle.

The worst thing you can be in the NFL is mediocre as it limits your draft position(s) and ties up cap money that is spent on middling free agents making it impossible to do a full rebuild.

Nail on head!

Ravens fired Harbaugh.

He'll have a new job next week or tomorrow if he wants.
I think they are getting rid of the wrong star so to speak. Harbaugh as much I couldn't stand him at times is a good coach. Unfortunately, the inmates are running the asylum in Baltimore. There is a reason you have a coach and that is control, if Harbaugh is guilty of anything, he let arguably an illiterate football player dictate the locker room in the spirit of getting along. Bad Move, there can only ever be 1 Chief. To compare, there is a reason Mike Tomlin is well liked, but notice he is also well respected. There was not 1 complaint from inside that locker room when Antonio Brown, Leveon Bell or George Pickens was "let go".

The Ravens made their bed with the borderline idiotic Small Game Lamar Jackson Big Time Contract. They are stuck with that and would rather try a coaching change. All is my opinion, but my gut tells me it is spot on.

Speaking of Jackson, he is now complaining about the officiating of the game......................you just can't make it up with this jerk. Is it ever his fault or responsibility? He is something, if you read any of the latest articles, he is being praised, ie Harbaugh didnt win in the playoffs despite having MVP Jackson" HELLO, isn't Jacksons crap play in a number of those games, the reason they lost? How about his crap play in the beginning of this season? Good lord, the spin zone is in full effect.

Coaches fail upward in the NFL and college. Harblow had a decent run but when he didn't give the ball to Henry in the 4th quarter against NE he sealed his fate. Some coaches can't do the obvious. They get too clever. Think they are smarter than everyone else. The Eagles don't want to throw the ball to AJ Brown. He is a beast who can't be covered but for some inexplicable reason they can't bring themselves to do it. The coach wants to grind it out.

The Eagles had not one but TWO halves where they did not complete a forward pass, first time since 1987.

That is incredible in this day and age.

I think we are seeing the last of long term head coaches.

In this NFL you either win a Super Bowl or at the very least get to one within a few years or you are done.

In the near future even making the playoffs consistently will not be enough.

He was there 18 years and in that time, the Ravens went to one Super Bowl; for all the talent he's had on that roster, that's not very good.

Reports are that he lost the locker room, so it was time to go.

He'll have his pick of any job he wants.
