N.F.L. 24-25 Season (3 Viewers)

The Pro Bowl game has always been a joke but whatever that was last night was embarrassing. Time to pull the plug on that travesty. Just make it an honorary event with no game. Maybe they could just let the players play the game with AI or something.

I'm not going to watch either one; for the most part, the halftime entertainment at the SB has sucked, all sorts of technical issues, bands well past their prime playing, some nitwit I've never heard of this year, although his "Ice out" comment at the Grammy's was so inspiring, right up there with I have a dream/ask not what your country can do for you/the Gettysburg address.

I DON'T CARE what Bad Ballbag or any other virtue signaling woke entertainer has to say.

About any subject.

I don't get the outrage by fans; he left here, went to Tampa, won another Super Bowl and is part owner of the Raiders as well as a broadcaster.

Much ado about nothing, so he is not rooting for New England; some people around here really are not wrapped too tight, the things they get butthurt about mystify me, they really do.

But shouldn’t he be rooting for them? He played practically all of his career as a Patriot. He’s probably — well, not probably — but their best player ever.

Maybe he's trying to look impartial and not a fanboy, who knows.

Him not rooting for them does not bother me in the least.

Without him, Kraft isn't a gagillionaire, Belichick isn't a HOF worthy coach and Patriots fans have probably 5 less Super Bowl wins, Bledsoe would have gotten them one, maybe two.

He's arguably the greatest NFL player ever.
 
Kid Rock has a number of hits I like. But I apply the same logic to him that as to others, when you make it all about your personal opinion, it turns me off. Now, that said, he does have a lot of very good songs from earlier and some really good duets. BUT, one problem, it is hard to replicate some of it live. I did see him one time with Metallica and he played all rock music and very little of his own sample stuff other than excerpts from some of his biggest hits that focused on the guitar parts/drum parts. I also saw a duet with Bon Jovi that was fantastic, so I wouldn't call his stuff garbage in that sense, he is a talented guy.

Unfortunately, both Super Bowl halftime shows IMO are little more than self serving political statements and I will be skipping both>
