After the Skins impressive win against the Cards on opening day, I expected a better showing than the uninspired 21-9 loss today against Indy. Then I see that the Cards lost to the Rams 34-0 today, so now I'm thinking that the Skins win against the Cards was sort of meaningless as the Cards have only scored 6 points in 2 games. Now I'm also thinking that it's going to be another long football season in DC. :rolleyes2: -- Al
Things sure have changed. I guess that the town has finally gotten fed up with Snyder's circus. Fedex Field has a capacity of 82K and it sure looked to be half empty to me. A sure sign that the product has been oversold and that the fans would like to see a better product than is being provided. Yes, things have really changed in DC. -- AlAnd only 57K in the stands. The lowest opening day attendance in decades. I can remember when people left their Redskins' season ticket rights in the their wills and the wait list was years long.

Jason, the running game was thought to have been addressed to a large degree, especially after the showing against the Cards in Game 1. However, the whole running game regressed against the Colts and the offensive line failures were a big reason. Lots of problems to be fixed...same old, same old. -- AlAl:
One thing they need is a running game as they only had 65 rushing yards in the entire game. It seemed like the Colts simply lined up in a pass defense formation on just about every play.
No team in today's NFL can win with a one dimensional offense.

Snyder gouges the fans. To park a car within a half mile of the stadium can cost $55 to $65. It is estimated that a single game ticket, food, parking, and drinks will cost $272 per person. Way out of my price and interest line. -- AlAttendance figures are usually inflated. MLB, for example, reports attendance based on the number of tickets sold rather than bodies in the seats. Thus, it inflates the actual attendance figures. So it's probably even worse than reported. I think fans are fatigued with the politics, obnoxious and often criminal behavior of the players, and over saturation of TV coverage with two games on Monday night, Thursday and Sunday night games and the typical local market games. There is little incentive to pay hundreds or thousands of dollars for a few tickets to attend a game with all the aggravation that entails.
Been a wee bit busy the past couple of days out here in Chicago (and WOW was Wednesday a great day...……...beat my previous record from three years ago)…………….but the Patriots got Josh Gordon for a 5th.
No wonder ya'll hate the Patriots so much.
LOL NFL.
not everybody hates them George...
so what is the story on the book about Brady/Belichick...
family feud?
good luck at the show...
Not sure what to make of that book, just consider the source...……………………….
Hope the Jags are done celebrating that epic week two win, if they meet again in the playoffs, they'll get brushed aside like the Prussians at Jena...………….
So far, so good at the show, hallways are pretty empty, but again, it's not quantity, it's quality.
See what Buffalo is doing to the Vikes? 27-0, almost at the half! Skins up 28-10 on the Pack with just seconds to the half! Lots of surprises in progress at the moment. -- AlMahomes is carving up the 49ers like a Thanksgiving turkey.
The Lions looked like one of the most inept teams in NFL history just a couple of weeks ago and they beat the Pats last night. There must be trouble in Beantown.
On ESPN they’re asking if this is the beginning of the end of the Pats. This week’s game against the Dolphins will be very important.
