NAP0030 Napoleon & Staff and NAP0030a Guard Chasseur Pre-order! (1 Viewer)

17 British Guards AND a British 9lb Field Artillery Set! :D
Well actually that Artillery, while much appreciated, just balances the earlier French 12 pounder set. Then of course there is the wee matter of the 30 French line infrantry (which I happily also own with serveral multiples). I do keep track of these things.;):D

Guys

Just back from the London Show. On Saturday I headed straight for the TMTerrain boys table-couldn't get near it for the crowds-Yeah! you guessed it as the world premiere of Nap and his staff had drawn quite a crowd.

Returned about an hour later and finally got a close up of the set-I have no superlatives within my vocabulary that can do these figures the justice they deserve. As some of you know I am not a Nap collector but I have always had the ability to thoroughly appreciate stunning figures regardless whether I collect the era or not. In my stash I have three or four ACW pieces of Russian Aeroart which I consider are the bees knees of my collection but I will have to say that what I saw on Saturday my pieces are- in my book- easily equalled by Matt's latest set of Napoleon and his staff.

Wow..... thanks for the report Reb.

Going to try and see these at the Danvers show. I'm sure Warrior will be showing these there.

I'm afraid I'm being led down the dark side. I was so intrigued by Nap 0030a because it's quite similar to a glossy version that K & C did that I have that I'm going to order this as well as a couple of flag bearers.

I fear that as well, Brad.

I to don't collect NAP's, but I need help not to.

Just waiting to find out what the FL new range is that's coming, so I know where to go. But I do know FL is going to get my dollars, just don't know yet, should I stop eating ;)

Wow, thanks Reb, that is certainly a compliment of the highest order. Much appreciated. We may just have to do ACW for you after all. ;)

Kudos as well to the TM Terrain folks - the terrain they did for the show was just amazing. I'm really looking forward to seeing what they come up with for the June London show. I'm not sure what it will be yet, but I can guarantee you that with their terrain building skills showing off our newest releases in June, it's really going to be something very special.

Brad....I'm your father. Together we can rule the toy soldier world side by side as father and son. :D

(actually, having seen your ridiculously large collection, if you start buying our figures there may not be any left for anyone else!)

I would another in the growing list of those who have been dragged into the Napoleonic Era because of First Legion's products. Now if those British Guards I ordered last week would just get here. The wait is killing me....:D

Mr Matt and I hate it when we see you guys being dragged into collecting the FL range. I knew once you saw them Brad you'd get hooked.

AND, if you guys like the Napoleonics, you are going to love, LOVE, L-O-V-E the new range due out later this year.

I do, that's for sure, outstanding job on those Mr Matt.........

Sorry, I am sworn to secrecy, Mr Matt would have my head on a platter if I spilled the beans.

I promise it will be worth the wait........

Jeff,

It's pretty much of an open secret, even Matt has hinted at it, something that happened in the mid 30s:rolleyes:

Call me thick! But what are you lot on about? Mid 30's whats that 1800, 1900 or ?:confused::confused:

Jeff

Actually I do know and have put in my pre-order already :D:D

Sorry, I should have said from 1939 to 1945. Oh, what the hell, WW II. Other than that, that's all the information I have. I will be keenly waiting for the first photos of this range.
