Napoleonic Spoils of War! (1 Viewer)

Had not looked at this thread in a while and just read it through from start to finish. Love watching your work, Jeff. This project just about takes the prize. Very inspiring indeed. Too bad there is no green paint to be found anywhere or I'd try my hand at painting too. ;)

Dave,

You will need all you can get for your Man Cave

Thanks for your comments, have you got your castings yet? I think you should consider a How-To for those.

Jeff

They look pure dead brill Jeff, looking forward to seeing the acoutremonts all painted up :)

We shall see. Would like to but, having not painted anything in years, and then it was all plastic kits, will probably do a delayed format in case the work is lousy. Stay tuned in case.

A paint in progress photo of the accoutrements.......clothes pegs can be useful, saves the paint getting on ones pinkies!

Wow, Jeff,
seeing those bits and pieces I almost feel bad having asked to include these, but only almost :D
I am glad you still got a good eye and a steady hand and those clothes pegs make a great gadget.

We are going to have to call you St. Jeff as I am sure those fiddly bits would try the patience of one. Looking forward to seeing them done and in Konrad's display :)

The accoutrements are nearly finished now, I am away tomorrow on business, so give it a day or so and I will post the finished results.

Jeff

Perhaps I should have said "Fiddley Little Buggers" instead , trouble was there wasn't much to hold onto.

Jeff

That is just wonderful, how "those fiddley little buggers" came out.
Thanks a lot Jeff. These fine little accessories will make a big difference for the whole display.
Tomorrow, seeing a photo of the the completed set, that will make my day :D.

:D What a day, and what a Set !!! :D
Yes, Jeff, that sure does make my day.
Splendid! That must be one of the most colorful sets out there.
Congratulations and a big Thank You for such fine work.
Now, soon I will be a menace to the mailman again ;)

Thanks for the follow along on this Jeff. Indeed it is a great set and very colourful and beautifully painted.

Great set of figures, very nicely painted. Thanks for the photo diary and for using up some of that elusive paint. Konrad, congrats on your latest aquisition.

Simon

Thanks everyone.:)

Btw has anyone noticed the little bit of humorous scenario I have incorporated into this set?....... and I don't mean the Girl!

Jeff

Excellent results, Jeff. Thanks for sharing your work with us once again. Another fine set of figures headed to Konrad's house. :)
